"You stand up for what you believe in, even if it gets you in the way of what others think..."

My photo
if i could use one word to describe my life SERENDIPITY seems to fit the space... i stumbled upon my husband during a time i shouldn't have and my story goes on from there... constantly falling or stumbling upon remarkable gifts and people who bring fortune to our lives... when we fall we learn and strive toward the next step.

trying snow~

"You can't always get what you want,
but if you try sometimes,
you might find,
you get what you need"
the rolling stones

Sunday was filled with snow

a long over due drive
was taken sunday afternoon

over the river
along the winding paths we crossed

climbing higher & higher

until the top we reached
looking out amongst
the wide open space

back down it was
stopping only for a moment
so one wee older one could stretch their legs

one wee little exclaims
we're here papa...we're here
able to recognize
the land so familiar

but signs were posted stating
private property
so we traveled a little farther
and this is what we found

the mountains were ours this day
not a single soul or creature could be found

i turned my back only for a second
to hear one wee littles voice echoing loud & clear

i know the pic doesn't look that great
but
one wee little
had hopped on a snowboard for the FIRST time
and was sailing sweetly down the hill

with ease & grace
one older one gently glides through the snow

my spirit filled
i can not express enough
of how i feel when spending time in the woods

does this bring back a memory???
if no...you can refresh your mind
 here & here
hhhmmm

oh YES...YES...YES...YES
i did i did
i really did
&
oh so happy i tried again

Winter is a lot of fun when you live in the country; not so in the city.

I went back to read those older posts.....and the one where your older child is teaching and encouraging you...and the picture of your Husband holding your hands...well, made me tear up!

A day of family fun and laughter....a mama who just doesn't cheer on the sidelines, but joins in....these are wonderful memories you're helping to make, Dear Brandi!
