"You stand up for what you believe in, even if it gets you in the way of what others think..."

My photo
if i could use one word to describe my life SERENDIPITY seems to fit the space... i stumbled upon my husband during a time i shouldn't have and my story goes on from there... constantly falling or stumbling upon remarkable gifts and people who bring fortune to our lives... when we fall we learn and strive toward the next step.

our story continues & Six Word Saturday~

~to have and to hold forever~

Our story continues

yesterday
 12 years together
today
celebrating 6 years of marriage

as i sit here
i can remember clear as day
all that was on that warm summer night

i slowly got out of my car
and walked up to his door
gave a little knock
and took two steps back

his mother answered
i asked if he was there
she turned her back
and yelled

**** there is a woman dressed in a uniform at he door for you
hhhmmm i am a woman
kind of funny cause i was only 20
didn't quite feel like i was this "woman"

i could here his steps coming from the stairs
he turned the corner
and just looked at me for a long second

i smiled and said hi
he said you
i said ya it was me
and you were the a** that cut me off yesterday

we went out that night
and well never did he leave
as i sit here
i can remember clear as night
all the minutes and moments
that have passed before us

as i sit here
i can remember it all

i can remember

the moment i saw you again
after years gone by
the feelings that wooshed inside me
the desire that could not hold me back
the pull that led me to you
the wishful thinking that stirred my thoughts

the road so sweet
l♥ve felt like no other
feelings i couldn't ignor
emotions sweltering

the long road we took
our paths tangled and twisted
and veered in different directions
time wastefully spent
but growth came to be
stronger are you and i
though our love became far different
unified by strength
compassion
a yearning for one another
knowing this is what is to be
knowing this is who we wake for
and who we fall aimlessly for

these two who had met long ago
then seperated by time
were brought back together by some twist of faith

these two i spoke of yesterday
are my husband and i

today we celebrate 6 years of marriage
a day we vowed forever and more

these two children who grew apart through the years
came back together
seperated by life for some time
yet
l♥ve was far deeply rooted in each of their hearts
to keep eachother at bay

so as i sit here this morning

i can remember clear as day
each memory that has passed before me
i remember feelings
i remember the calmness
the excitement i felt
wanting time to speed up
fly

i put my dress on
the final touches
my father opened the door and tears began to fall
are we ready he said
they are waiting

i took his hand
and we walked down the stairs
through the bay window i could see
our sunny day had come to an end

should we call it off
dad are you crazy
im not calling this off because of some rain

i walked to the balcony
looked out upon my family and friends
all gathered together
waiting to see

i looked at him
his smile
and i knew it was my time

the music began
and away we went

~to l♥ve & be l♥ved...a blessing we behold~

~a Magical Brew...now in cans~

yes
this excites me
this fills me with joy

this company
now offering their beer in cans
is a satisfying blessing to me

see hear
we are ones who love to camp
way high into the mountains
sit by the rivers
away from all

we do our best
even camping and all
to reduce reuse and recycle
when away

now
99 empty bottles of beer to take home
(please know this is just a joke...there is not 99 bottles to behad on our trips!)
well not so much
creates a huge lot of bags
and glass and all
not really so safe
to be lugging around

so
HIP HIP HOORAY
for us today

no more bottles only cans consumed

if you like a magical brew
here and there
and have yet to try

oh me oh my

please do

this is one crisp clean taste
with a hint of orange
perfect for warm sunny days
pared with clean simple foods
our fav...fish.n.chips

oh and just so you know...

~no...this is not paid advertising~

just one happy

 drinker

Six Word Saturday~

~COLOSSAL cupcakes ARRIVED at our door~

7:30pm
my littlest and i
snugged up in bed
unwinding from our day
quietly laying
one listening to my words
as i read their favorite
JUST ONE MORE TIME
when we hear a knock at the door

all that had been done
was now lost
mood has changed
and this little one jumps up
running to accompany
who ever is going to open the door

MAMA...MAMA
LOOK...QUICK...
OH...MY...
can we please eat them
PLEEEEAAASSSSEEE

just looking at these
made my stomach and head spin
not one times the size
 of a regular cupcake
these had to be about
10 times the size of a normal treat

IF YOU WISH
JUST DON'T COMPLAIN
IF YOUR TUMMY ACHES
a minute or two goes by
one little one crawls up in bed

HOW WAS YOUR CUPCAKE?

"oh i just had a few bites...i'm all done"
all done
"ya...is it ok if i save it"
SURE

i am thankful
mine aren't served up
these types of treats day to day
cause when they come face to face
 with such a creation
they can never finish

simply filled with an explosion of sugar

could you finish
these colossal cupcakes

~I think I fixed our computer~

paulina cassidy
after hours of waisted time on the phone
supposedly
with professional technical support memebers
i was told our computer was a gone~r
well well
i refused to give up
and
I
fixed our computer

this has to be the silliest problem
and I can hardly believe they did not suggest this

after multiple attempts
and
msn explorer shutting down on me
i was finally able to unistall and reinstall internet explorer 8
and
i think i fixed our problem
i am back online
and
ask for YOUR wishes
that our computer will stay up and running

~wishing you all a wonderful saturday~

~lily...an intoxicating l♥ve affair happening~

every year around this time
the stores are plum full of lilies

it seems
 my husband is destined
to go to the store
for tid bits he feels he needs

and every year around this time
my sweet one returns home

armed with a white lily

he professes his l♥ve for me
explaining as to why this flower is here

though i beg to differ

i think he has a secret l♥ve affair

Lily and He

~do you have a secret l♥ve affair with a flower?~

courage

~FEAR THAT HAS SAID ITS PRAYER~
dorothy bernard

google images

yesterday mornings little meditation was

COURAGE

I WONDER IF ITS POSSIBLE
TO BE IN TOUCH WITH OUR TRUE COURAGEOUSNESS
WITHOUT BEING IN TOUCH WITH OUR SPIRITUALITY?
We know how to be foolhardy. We know how to take risks.
We even know how to put ourselves on the line...

But do we know how to soar through the tempering fires of our fear,
reach deep into our spirit,
and find the courage that is there.
Do we have the courage for the dailyness of life?
Can we admit a mistake and give in to the luxury of self castigation?
Do we have the courage to be honest about who we really are with those we love?

When we face our fears and let ourselves know our connection to the power
that is in us and beyond us,
we learn courage.

MY COURAGE IS EVERDAY JUST LIKE MY SPIRITUALITY
by~ anne wilson schaef

i think many times we doubt what lies within us
 what powers we hold
what our true abilities are and can be
we hesitate
all because of FEAR

where did fear come from
why do we carry it and allow it to guide us at times
knowing we can easily break free
and be courageous ones as we wish

is it something that has been taught
learned
steaming from ridicule
insecurity
or something we are naturally born with

some hold no such emotion
have they just broken free
realizing things would not come to be if they hold back
or did it just come naturally

FEAR

~i am trying to let go~
