"You stand up for what you believe in, even if it gets you in the way of what others think..."

My photo
if i could use one word to describe my life SERENDIPITY seems to fit the space... i stumbled upon my husband during a time i shouldn't have and my story goes on from there... constantly falling or stumbling upon remarkable gifts and people who bring fortune to our lives... when we fall we learn and strive toward the next step.

Autumn Exquinox Exchange...how sweet it was~

these last few days
i have been
over the moon
from the
magical beauty that so many sent forth

our equinox came
and gifts were shared with one another
from near and far

the thoughtful

that was given in each ones package
has me simply in awe

TRULY AN AMAZING
WAY TO CONNECT AND CELEBRATE
TOGETHER

with great excitement
just as a child
i heard the knock coming yesterday afternoon

Jasmine's
package from afar...arrived in just the nick of time

the scent that was coming
lingering from deep within this package
was that of warm and woodsie

a gorgeous handcrafted box
made with her wools
filled to the brim
with...

she forged through her lands
and sent the most delightful gifts of nature

simple organic
capturing the pure essence of her home

i will treasure these always
and await for some to bloom!
{how cool is that...bulbs...now why i hadn't thought of that!!}

and then came jewels
what more can i say

jasmine
your gifts straight from your heart
each one i simply adore
thank you so
for such an enchantingly beautiful package

52 projects...week 33-35~

“It is better to create than to be learned,
creating is the true essence of life”
Barthold Georg Niebuhr

behind again on posting my projects
but hey...atleast i am doing them!

week 33

i had created
my first holiday swap
for
autumn

and happy to say it is on its merry way
and hopefully packages are arriving around the world
from all the wonderful ladies who participated

week 34

this one is my error
i got so excited about finishing
my autumn equinox partners gift
that i forgot to take pictures of what i made

so without spoiling the details for her
i will have to revisit this week with all the details

but i was creative and crafty!

week 35

this week i knitted

a unity scarf

i really like the idea of

~unity~

an undivided or unbroken completeness

can you guess what i am knitting now
oh yes

autumn equinox exchange...reminder~

The Ceremonial Circle

If we could strip away the ideologies that seperate us,
stop the greedy destruction and meet by the riverside,
we would discover we are all children of the same earth
and that our lives are patterned by the ceremonial flow
of the sun, moon, seasons and tides.
We are all one in spirit and in the body.
Sedonia Cabhill & Joshua Halpern

~Autumn Equinox Exchange~

we all celebrate in our own way
no matter
if it is
The Autumn Equinox, Mabon,
The First Day of Fall or Autumn
i would L♥VE to have you join along

the wheel is turning
a new season upon us
preparing for colder
darker days to come

a time when day and night are equal
a time to harvest for a second
to gather the fruits of our labor
and dead head whats no longer needed
a time to reflect upon our lives
what was balanced and what fell out of sorts
a time we celebrate thanksgiving
a moment to remember loved ones here and gone
a time to give thanks for all the goodness in our lives
a time to give gratitude to all who surround us

so what better way to celebrate

exchange our gratitude
for
one another

simple.mindful.gifts
representing the season upon us

be it
gifts of nature...collecting pieces outdoors...pine cones...leaves...acorns
foods.bake goods.jellies.jams.herbs.dried fruits
{anything you've made and or harvested from the summer months}
teas from apples and cinnamon...orange and spices...you get my picture
arts and crafts relating to mabon~autumn equinox~the first day of fall
just make sure its atleast 3 gifts to give or more if you wish

ITS A SEASON
be creative in your own way or google ideas representing such day!

what ever speaks to you
what ever moves you
whatever
you feel you wish to share
 and
 bless your partner with

i leave it in your hands...your mindful spirit

i will leave this open until
 September 3, 2010
this leaves plenty of time to gather your thoughts.ideas.gifts for another

if you are interested in
the Autumn Equinox Exchange

send me an email
tofallorstumbleupon@live.com
with your name and mailing address
i will pair everyone up on the 3rd
email you your partner
from their
you mail your item of goodies

now for the twist

since
it is a day of
 being thankful
for all in our lives

i thought everyone could hold their packages received until
the Autumn Exquinox, Mabon, First Day of Fall
whatever it is you celebrate that day

and
 together
on that day
we can open our gifts from far away

~tomorrow is the last day to sign up~
