DO YOU EVER HAVE A MOMENT

a moment that just fills you

washes over you

completely unexpected

well tonight

I HAD ONE  THOSE MOMENTS

as my littles and i were pulling out each ornament to dress our tree

one by one came memories from the years prior

one by one the ornaments were hung

as i reached in for another

my hand fell up this angel

not just an ornament

not just a gift

but a symbol of friendship

and then the emotions came flooding along

a sweet but sad reminder of each of you here

the friendships that were created

 these past few years

sad...meaning i have missed out on so much of your lives this past year

something i can not take back nor bring back

i couldn't help but share this feeling with you

because each and everyday

i do think about here

...about you...

 the friendships created

know this holiday season

i am wishing you all

 the merriest of merry days to come forth

celebrate the season...nothing but a bounty of blessings~

yesterday

the season was celebrated

packages both near and far

were sent and recieved from one another

i am touched deeply by how many chose

 to partcipate in this with me

and i thank you greatly

for helping it come to be!!!

wendy and i exchanged ornaments

is she not the sweetest of faeries you have seen

miss e and i exhanged 3 gifts with one another

sweet treats to tempt me

beautiful bits wrapped

and the intoxicating scent that came from this soap

oh my goodness

DELICIOUS

and a box filled with bits to soothe my soul

elemental gifts i will forever treasure

truly beautiful each piece
especially her faerie lantern sent forth

sara had hosted a tea exchange swap

a wonderful mixed media piece

made from her heart

there is nothing more precious than a handmade gift

 such fun filled bits

 to challenge my creativity and mind

i can't wait to sit with my tea

and play throughout the day

linda and i shared the book exchange

she went above and beyond

not just sending one book for a wee little

or one for a wee older

but the magical number 3 came our way

and then she slipped this surpirse she created in

oh how i l♥ve thee so very much

on the back she shared

"1921 published harpers magazine"

"when mother goose dust of the moon

you know it will be snowing soon."

could this not be anymore perfect!!!

without her even realizing or being aware

our living room decor is white neutrals and black

to each and everyone of you i thank you greatly for these gifts you have blessed me with

for your kindness and mostly for our friendships that have come to be

nothing could be greater

~mystical mask making~

i had this crazy idea of having a mask exchange

which as you now know

has come and gone

the days leading up to it

i started thinking

"have i lost my mind"

"this is crazy"

i really had no idea of how to do such

then it came to me

in the wee early hours one  morning

i had an old karma card book

 i had been using for random projects

so out came the pages

of a scorpio

{mothermoons astrological sign}

and into some coffee

i layered and layered

and then let it dry



i often think of mothermoon

and the scenes she shared from last winter

it reminds me always of narnia

ice queen in mind

out came the glitter

thee eyes

what to do with ones eyes

a little nature came into play

silver ferns for a delicate flair

little tiny beads wanted to stay

placed around the edges

and over the eyes they carefeully lay

error on my behalf

i got so excited about this here piece

i forgot to take a full shot picture

of her all complete

but fear not

if at all interested

now an

ice queen

couldn't go out into the land

 without one of these in her hand

i had my doubts along the way

especially when no others but two were wanting to play

but i have to say

i without a doubt l♥ved

making this mask for mothermoon

so much so

that i indeed will create more
