bits and pieces~

~a menagerie of things~

trinket trade

has officially begun

the box left my home

and

made its first visit to

Lis

she found two pieces that spoke to her

{i was going to share what she put in...but thought it would ruin the surprise for those still waiting}

i will keep you all updated along the way

i do hope she enjoys her new trinkets too

the box has left her hands and is making its way to Sarah

will soon be coming to an end

yet i will continue on

as i l♥ve to write my days away

words that reflect feelings within

inspired by a book of flowers

somewhere on the other side of the rainbow

STUMBLING...as stated way above...my life is and has been a way of contantly stumbling upon remarkable gifts...which include all of you...SAVOR...{enjoy: derive or receive pleasure from; get enjoyment from; take pleasure in}all there is to in our day to day...HEAR...i think there is a voice that lies within us all that wants to be heard...SEEKING...i adore seeking out learning something new...and LIGHT...maybe just maybe i am able to bring forth a bit of light to your day.

as i said...we were in the mountains~

it seems every july

our sky

paints the scene with prettty shades of pink

as we headed out

one mountain was in plain view

basking in

the light of the moon

after a sound night sleep

{arriving at near midnight}

of the river singing softly to each

i walked down by the bed to see

{our pool had dried up...the river has dwindled}

that the

 river was running

 quite low

no longer ranging was thee

i gathered some water

that was truly in need

{though camping pretty rough...one is never without her coffee}

sat down beside this river of mine

and

 wrote down words that sprang to mind

it was but a moment i sat there...just me

before the sound of

two little feet were heard

{but mama...where did it go...how am i going to take a dip in my pool}

soon came another

to check out the view

that wee little face

who is standing above

stopped in their tracks

mama...do you see

a heart for me

with daylight upon us

exploring was calling

{remember how i said the water would dry}

well just walk through this path

and soon you will see

the land that i had been speaking of

opens up

far and wide

for all to see

grassy lands in the front

grand mountains in the back

as we headed back to our little place

one could only help to see

another heart waiting to be

then one wee little eye

so excited by thee

a butterfly mama

well not quite sweetie

with the heat of the sun
quickly coming upon us
 a new pool had to be made

snorkel gear came on
now its time to play

just
 a
quick peek

ok...its a little cold

this one was convinced

and

decided to try

passing time

in a warmer manner

is it a bird

a plane

a fish

nope

a bug that hoped on board

with such a morning

one wee little one needed to sneak away

{just a little rest...mama}

now this my dear friends

is no joke

this older one

pulled l♥ve from a bag

i decided to wander

while one lay down to rest

life

dimishing by the hour

the heat of the sun can be too much

yet for a few

it is just what they need

to grow

to thrive

soon

before we are not quite ready

to let go

the sun slowly stars sinking

down below

little feet have joined us again

 anxiously awaiting

what nightfall will bring

the promise of warmth

the sight

the smell

the golden perfection

aaahhh

to taste such a treat

and

 have a moment to

savor

well now

this one is tired from all

though her adventure here has only begun

returning home with over 600 photos

she will have more to share with you tomorrow
