"You stand up for what you believe in, even if it gets you in the way of what others think..."

My photo
if i could use one word to describe my life SERENDIPITY seems to fit the space... i stumbled upon my husband during a time i shouldn't have and my story goes on from there... constantly falling or stumbling upon remarkable gifts and people who bring fortune to our lives... when we fall we learn and strive toward the next step.

and it was beautiful~

“As we let our light shine,
we consciously give other people
 permission to do the same.
As we are liberated from our own fear,
our presence actually liberates others.”
Marianne Williamson

dec. 31

all good things must come to an end

and so just as quickly as the snow had fallen
mr. sun came way and melted it just as fast

another year gone by

often i do wonder
how much faster the days could and will pass

as each day that comes
seems to go by a bit quicker than the one before

it had not hit me much
thinking or pondering
about this year coming to a close

i had not been thinking about
the beginning middle or end of such
you could say i was a bit oblivious
as to what was creeping its way to surface

until the day before christmas eve

it was that morning that it hit me

a call from a loved one asking what they shall do

without a thought in my mind
thinking twice about what i was going to say

i told them

"you have one chance to live this life
so live it as you wish"

"i can not make a decision reguarding what is the right or wrong thing to do
only you can decide that"

it was then as i hung up the phone

LIBERATING

the condition in which
an individual has the ability
to act according to his or her own will

LIBERATING...came to me

out of the clear blue yonder
my word that would be

i had not been looking
seeking
or even thinking about a word

but

LIBERATING

To set free,
{YES...YES...YES...FREE...OH I DO SO LIKE THIS
 & THE WAY IT SOUNDS & MAKES ME FEEL}
as from oppression,
confinement,
or foreign control

funny how things come our way
 when least expecting
a word chosen
a word i use often to guide or direct others
yet
a word
i hardly grasp
as often as i should

LIBERATING

able to act at will;
not hampered;
not under compulsion or restraint

now mind you
don't worry that i do not live for myself
make my own choices
or act upon my own free will
because i learned long ago
many lessons
that have brought me to my place
my path
how i choose to live this life

but

i can honestly say
i do not embrace

being and or feeling

LIBERATED

free from traditional social restraints

on a day to day basis

i do still shelter insecurities
harbor fear

all from what we are taught from long ago

it is these ties i wish to break

it is these emotions
that at times keep me from being  and feeling

LIBERATED

“It is not the simple statement of facts
 that ushers in freedom;
it is the constant repetition
of them
 that has this
 liberating
 effect."
Quentin Crisp

LIBERATING

that feeling you get when you attempt something
that once felt so far from your reach
and when you attain it
when you have succeeded in trying

you feel that emotion
 running wildly through your body

LIBERATING

i can remember long ago

standing in the mountains
so far from all those others who exist around me in this world
yet some so close
they could be mindlessly wandering as we had
i stood under the light of the moon
took off my clothes
and bathed in the river before me

DO YOU KNOW WHAT THAT FELT LIKE

to stand before any and all who may be passing
not caring
i as i am
so far away from perfect
but accepting myself
loving myself
just as i was
not wishing or thinking i was different
i just stood there and soaked up a moment

i never thought would be

i was bare
exposed
naked to the world

and it was ok

mind you also
now i again am not saying
i want to live in nudity...hehehe
just fully embrace
that carelessness that one young girl had long ago
the feeling that it really didn't matter
the thoughts of another
carefree
it was then i was happy
and fully being as i am

and what a moment
i will never forget

LIBERATING

if ever it could be
it was there
i was holding it
i was carrying such word
in the palm of my hand
and it was beautiful

so i shall only walk forward
into this new year
savoring life as it passes
and being
as
LIBERATING
as  i can possibly be

to each of you
i thank you for this past year
for being such bright lights in my day to day
for sharing together
for all of your love words and support
you have given to me
and i can only hope
 to continue sharing
many many many
more days here with you

only the brightest of
new year wishes
&
blessings
upon
you
 &
yours

Blue moon lunar eclipse on December 31, 2009
December 29, 2009 By~ Kedar
http://inspiringnews.wordpress.com/2009/12/29/blue-moon-lunar-eclipse-on-december-31-2009/

It’s going to be a Full Moon on New Year’s Eve 2009. It’s also going to be a Blue Moon. (A Blue Moon is the 2nd Full moon in a single calendar month – on 2nd and 31st December 2009). This will be the 13th Full Moon of 2009. It’s going to be a Blue Full Moon the same night it turns a new decade. The next Blue Moon NYE will be in 29 years on December 31, 2028.

This minor partial lunar eclipse takes place in Gemini, and is visible primarily from the Eastern Hemisphere. The origin of the term “blue moon” is steeped in folklore, and its meaning has changed and acquired new nuances over time. Some folktales say that when there is a full blue moon, the moon had a face and talked to those in its light. This year has been designated International Year of Astronomy by the United Nations to highlight 400 years of astronomy since 1609 when Galileo first viewed the heavens with a telescope. It was also 400 years ago when Galileo turned his telescope toward the moon and discovered that the moon “is uneven, rough and full of cavities and prominences.”

As it is widely known, we tend to be more emotionally expressive during a Full Moon. This emotional and sometimes unstable environment occurs because there is change in the electromagnetic energy that affects us mentally and neurologically. There will be some stress as blockages will begin to crumble and then there will be a feeling of freedom. The good news is that creative and artistic qualities will be discovered as you let go of beliefs that don’t correspond with your current reality! As many spiritual fugures expect, this is the most important New Years Eve we have ever been gifted in a long time. It asks us to ‘flash forward’ into the next 2 years to see what we can see. No matter how much you do not believe prophecy from time and earth, it will still affect your energy field and your choices.
