"You stand up for what you believe in, even if it gets you in the way of what others think..."

My photo
if i could use one word to describe my life SERENDIPITY seems to fit the space... i stumbled upon my husband during a time i shouldn't have and my story goes on from there... constantly falling or stumbling upon remarkable gifts and people who bring fortune to our lives... when we fall we learn and strive toward the next step.

Magaly
who is filled with a
gorgeous passion for living life her way
shared this one with me

with all of these i am to
share share share
so many things about me
hhhmmm
i don't think my life could be all that interesting
and we may just be here all day

so
13 things
i shall share

~i did not go to a regular high school per~say
half way through my sophmore we had the choice~opportunity
to go to
 an occupational skill center

~i spent my two and half years there studying
 visual communications

~when i graduated i was offered a job as a photographer
for a race track that had just opened
well silly me thought to myself...
i don't want to photograph horse races
hhhmmm...maybe should have thought twice about that decision

~i took a year off from school
then went to college studying
 early childhood education
i wanted to become a kindergarten teacher

~i began working as a barista
when i was fifteen
 and continued for six years

~for almost two years i
worked 3 jobs all in a day
barista...kindergarten teachers assistant...barista

~it was suggested to me that i take the postal exam
not really thinking much about it
i did and i passed...
made it through all the interviews
and at 19
 i became the youngest
 letter carrier
 my area had ever hired
{during that whole lengthy process no one had really paid attention to my birth date...hehehe}

~i stayed with the post office
 for almost a year
and let me just say
i don't care how much money they pay
definitely will never be enough for me to want to stay...uuuggghhh

~ i became pregnant with my first little
and started having complications very early on
i left the post office to stay home
and nuture my growing little inside

~ it has been almost twelve years now
that i haven't worked outside of the home...
i am thankful and l♥ve every waking minute of it all

~i am still wondering
what i want to be when i grow up

~our dream is to one day run to the mountains
and open up a bed and breakfast

~but mostly for now i savor
each day i have the chance
 to be with my littles
to teach and guide them
l♥ve them and play

now you know a bit of my past
and onto the fun part
of passing this along

so many new friends i have made
so many that have stayed
to each and everyone of you
thank you for always brightening my day

Thank you so much, Faerwillow! I've been called a lot of nice things in my Life, but never trendy.... I like it :) I'm just so pleased that all my whims are finding their own voices here in Blogland...and making some fabulous friends for me in the process!

I'm afraid I am busy, busy of late....but I will take a moment to share 3 things about me:

1. I have 3 bins in the garage full of dress-up/costume attire for me to "play" with when I have an event (like the Renaissance Faire) or a sporting friend who'll let me photograph them....but I wear jeans and a t-shirt everyday, even in Summer, and never any make-up...though I love how pretty I feel in it...

2. I wear jeans in Summer because I despise my legs.....extremely pale....with dark, thick hair that creates a 5 o'clock shadow even after shaving that morning....and cankles....oy :(

3. My husband is not a Leg Man...luckily....and tells me how good my butt looks in those jeans...haha! I guess everything works out the way it should ;-P

Thanks again, Dear Friend. It means so much that you think so highly of me :)

I hope you and your family have a fantastic weekend!!

Thank you so much my dear! A little bit of sunshine, yippee! It's been a hard thing to come by these past couple of weeks, I don't remember the last time it stopped raining. Anyway, thank you so much again, and it was great reading about you. What an interesting career you've had!

Thank you very much! It's so interesting learning things about people. We're all much more exciting than we believe, I think.

I've been really bad about not doing these in the past, but I shall make myself a note to do it first thing Monday. :)

Weird..I can come on and blogger will tell me people don't have any new posts and yet I can come back say 2 hours later and it will say people posted 10 hours before or a day before where it had said 4 or whatever. I wonder what's up with that. Does it ever do it to you?

Thank you so very much for your sweet and generous mention of my blog. I have only been visiting here a short while but already both you and the rich sparkling 'light' that shines out so brightly here has me completely entranced. Therefore I am little surprised that others have encouragement.
How wonderful to find out a little more about your journey - so magical and full of surprising 'mystery', much joy and many blessings too.
hugs xxxx

FW - Thank you for continuing to connent us and promote us all. It is good to be part of global creative and inspirational circles. The power of blogs and art - positive vibes in a world where so much of the negative both exists but also highlighted. May the journey continue; and may you continue to play your positive and generous role in it all - go well. B
