"You stand up for what you believe in, even if it gets you in the way of what others think..."

My photo
if i could use one word to describe my life SERENDIPITY seems to fit the space... i stumbled upon my husband during a time i shouldn't have and my story goes on from there... constantly falling or stumbling upon remarkable gifts and people who bring fortune to our lives... when we fall we learn and strive toward the next step.

Six Word Saturday~

~COLOSSAL cupcakes ARRIVED at our door~

7:30pm
my littlest and i
snugged up in bed
unwinding from our day
quietly laying
one listening to my words
as i read their favorite
JUST ONE MORE TIME
when we hear a knock at the door

all that had been done
was now lost
mood has changed
and this little one jumps up
running to accompany
who ever is going to open the door

MAMA...MAMA
LOOK...QUICK...
OH...MY...
can we please eat them
PLEEEEAAASSSSEEE

just looking at these
made my stomach and head spin
not one times the size
 of a regular cupcake
these had to be about
10 times the size of a normal treat

IF YOU WISH
JUST DON'T COMPLAIN
IF YOUR TUMMY ACHES
a minute or two goes by
one little one crawls up in bed

HOW WAS YOUR CUPCAKE?

"oh i just had a few bites...i'm all done"
all done
"ya...is it ok if i save it"
SURE

i am thankful
mine aren't served up
these types of treats day to day
cause when they come face to face
 with such a creation
they can never finish

simply filled with an explosion of sugar

could you finish
these colossal cupcakes

It's a little hard to tell how big they are in the picture. But could I eat one? Hmmm... maybe if I scraped off some of that frosting. I wouldn't mind one of those for breakfast right about now! :-) Have a great weekend!

My grandkids always think they can...but usually their eyes are bigger than their stomachs!

Now me on the other hand....would have no problem finishing up these treats with a cup of coffee! 'Cept I don't eat chocolate...mine would have to be another flavor... and made without eggs, cuz I am allergic to eggs! (:>)

I want one. They sure look good, but you know, since I have been on this diet, sugar and I have not been getting along. Yesterday, a co-worker brought in the best homemade cinnamon rolls you ever ate, and all that sugar started my IBS acting up again.

Isn't the kids reactions to something as giantly magical as a super duper colossal cupcake (with the rainbow colored confetti, of course!) just so precious!!
How can you not let them eat them then and there?!

The difference is that my daughter takes after me in her love of sweets and would have no problem finishing off a cupcake the size of her head!!

A wonderful weekend to you and your family :)
