"You stand up for what you believe in, even if it gets you in the way of what others think..."

My photo
if i could use one word to describe my life SERENDIPITY seems to fit the space... i stumbled upon my husband during a time i shouldn't have and my story goes on from there... constantly falling or stumbling upon remarkable gifts and people who bring fortune to our lives... when we fall we learn and strive toward the next step.

Six Word Saturday~

courage

~FEAR THAT HAS SAID ITS PRAYER~

yesterday mornings little meditation was

COURAGE

I WONDER IF ITS POSSIBLE
TO BE IN TOUCH WITH OUR TRUE COURAGEOUSNESS
WITHOUT BEING IN TOUCH WITH OUR SPIRITUALITY?
We know how to be foolhardy. We know how to take risks.
We even know how to put ourselves on the line...

But do we know how to soar through the tempering fires of our fear,
reach deep into our spirit,
and find the courage that is there.
Do we have the courage for the dailyness of life?
Can we admit a mistake and give in to the luxury of self castigation?
Do we have the courage to be honest about who we really are with those we love?

When we face our fears and let ourselves know our connection to the power
that is in us and beyond us,
we learn courage.

MY COURAGE IS EVERDAY JUST LIKE MY SPIRITUALITY
by~ anne wilson schaef

i think many times we doubt what lies within us
 what powers we hold
what our true abilities are and can be
we hesitate
all because of FEAR

where did fear come from
why do we carry it and allow it to guide us at times
knowing we can easily break free
and be courageous ones as we wish

is it something that has been taught
learned
steaming from ridicule
insecurity
or something we are naturally born with

some hold no such emotion
have they just broken free
realizing things would not come to be if they hold back
or did it just come naturally

FEAR

~i am trying to let go~

Wow - what a profound post - so many things to mull over, "do we have the courage to face the dailyness of life" hit me hard, hmmm, good question.

I don't know where it comes from. But I do think it is learned. I mean, look at children...how they explore the world withour inhibition. Something happens between childhood and adulthood that discourages that courage, that will to just "be" and "do" wihtout fear. I'm trying to get that back.

Thanks for a wonderful post!

Fear can be so crippling. an everyday battle at times to keep it at bay... loved the post

I think we battle fear in one way or another every day. It's that "keep moving on" attitude that helps us get through. No time to give in to fear here!

Love this!
