"You stand up for what you believe in, even if it gets you in the way of what others think..."

My photo
if i could use one word to describe my life SERENDIPITY seems to fit the space... i stumbled upon my husband during a time i shouldn't have and my story goes on from there... constantly falling or stumbling upon remarkable gifts and people who bring fortune to our lives... when we fall we learn and strive toward the next step.

girls first dip into the snow~

at 11 months old

our girls got their first taste of
SNOW

we have said from the beginning

our wee little girls are a bit of sallys

they are not fans of the rain

and snow

mmm...not so much

did you ever know

...a.chicken.can.whine...

one wee little one thought

maybe if i feed it to them
they'll see it doesn't hurt

our dear sweet lani

to two steps in the cold
looked up at me
turned around
and tucked herself in back in her home

as the day went on
the more they were willing to carry on

two had a thought

maybe the higher up we go
the better off we may be

three more caught on
and said

 hey wait for me

and this here little one
pondered the thought

should i stay or should i go

before too long
there was a party on ones trampoline

oh this is so much fun...I remember out cats being the very same way. Our dog is so funny, while she hates to go out in the rain, snow is a thrill! Not as bath-like I guess:-)

The chickens are grand....as are your photos of them.
One of our St. Bernards, Priscilla, refused to venture out into the snow to do anything unless we shoveled her a path. Now that was a diva dog indeed.
No diva chickens in your group, just cautious ladies. Oma Linda
