at 11 months old
our girls got their first taste of
SNOW
we have said from the beginning
our wee little girls are a bit of sallys
our wee little girls are a bit of sallys
they are not fans of the rain
and snow
mmm...not so much
did you ever know
...a.chicken.can.whine...
one wee little one thought
maybe if i feed it to them
they'll see it doesn't hurt
our dear sweet lani
to two steps in the cold
looked up at me
turned around
and tucked herself in back in her home
as the day went on
the more they were willing to carry on
two had a thought
maybe the higher up we go
the better off we may be
three more caught on
and said
hey wait for me
and this here little one
pondered the thought
should i stay or should i go
before too long
there was a party on ones trampoline

What beautiful girls! And so brave to have ventured through the snow.
they are some gorgeous girls. I wouldnt think they would like the snow too much....
Your little chickens posts would make a great childrens book! I so enjoy them and I know childrenw would love them too...
How cute are they!! They are so finicky aren't they!
Beautiful photos Brandi!!
Hope you have a wonderful week!
Sincerely,
Melinda
oh this is so much fun...I remember out cats being the very same way. Our dog is so funny, while she hates to go out in the rain, snow is a thrill! Not as bath-like I guess:-)
the wee ladies out for a stroll, a - pardon me, whilst I scratch the snow.
delightful follow of these beautiful henny penny's.
be blessed this week, each one of you.
((hugs))
The chickens are grand....as are your photos of them.
One of our St. Bernards, Priscilla, refused to venture out into the snow to do anything unless we shoveled her a path. Now that was a diva dog indeed.
No diva chickens in your group, just cautious ladies. Oma Linda
They are so cute. Love these little posts.
