"You stand up for what you believe in, even if it gets you in the way of what others think..."

My photo
if i could use one word to describe my life SERENDIPITY seems to fit the space... i stumbled upon my husband during a time i shouldn't have and my story goes on from there... constantly falling or stumbling upon remarkable gifts and people who bring fortune to our lives... when we fall we learn and strive toward the next step.

embracing the power of rain~

“Anyone who says sunshine brings happiness
has never danced in the rain”
unknown

 we woke up to rain
this wee little one
was all to excited to grab his umbrella
and go play in the rain

{yes...he is in flip flops...mine...mind you}

“The best thing
one can do when it's raining
is to let it rain.”
Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

right...why try and fight it...

either
enjoy the time you have to curl up indoors
or
GO PLAY IN THE RAIN
whats the worst that could happen
maybe you'll get wet???

this wee little one was dancing about
twirling his umbrella
laughing as if wanting to shout

gently drops falling
warmth lingered in the air
there was calm amongst this weather

a simple moment

i think he is embracing my word for the year

I used to love playing in the rain. No umbrella. We used to spin around and allow ourselves the fall to the ground. The harder the rain fell the better.

I love the rain too and get so excited when it just pours outside. There's nothing like a pair of umbrellas that make you dance around in the rain. Thank you for making me smile :)

So sweet! We are due to have snow sometime this evening. If there is enough, I'll go play in it, inspired by you :)

nothing is more joyful then dancing in the rain. Although I am not too crazy about a cold rain, the freshness it brings is so exilerating....

How wonderful! Sometimes rain can be rejuvenating. And it's so enchanting to see life's simple pleasure through the eyes of a child. Beautiful photos! Theresa
