"You stand up for what you believe in, even if it gets you in the way of what others think..."

My photo
if i could use one word to describe my life SERENDIPITY seems to fit the space... i stumbled upon my husband during a time i shouldn't have and my story goes on from there... constantly falling or stumbling upon remarkable gifts and people who bring fortune to our lives... when we fall we learn and strive toward the next step.

down memory lane~

dec. 3

the first of our trees to go up

yes
 trees
 it is in our home
as someone kind of enjoys decorating them

an angel i made when i was about five years old

this tree
is probably one of my most treasured
3 generations of
handmade and heirloom bits
 all passed down

this is the tree of the littles
all of their handmade and ornaments recieved
ornaments that were
their mamas grandmothers and great grandmothers
all hang gaily along side thee others
branch upon branch
it is filled
there is no rhyme or reason to this tree
no order
just my littles partaking in some holiday fun
and a stroll each year down memeory lane

and yes it leans to one side
we have tried and tried over the years
and well we've learned
its simply just part of this special tree

thank you all who have recently stumbled over
i am sorry i am greatly behind on visiting
as we are all still battling this here bug
i AM trying
but its kind of hard to concentrate
when your head feels it may explode!

I adore the thought of more than one Christmas tree. I am sorry to say this never occurred to me, sad isn't it!

Trees filled with memories bring extra happiness each year. How fun!

Thanks for sharing!

I think having multiple trees is a great idea, if you've got the room!

Myself, I like crooked trees...so much more character...I also am trying to catch up on all the blog posts that I have missed...too much work and not enough time...

I've had two trees in the past...one in the living room and the other in dining room. I love the idea of decorating every room in the house although I don't do it any longer.

It's a fabulous tree and oh so special with those beautiful and sentimental family ornaments. I love the sweet angel you created - what a little talent you were. Please feel better soon! Theresa

My favourite decorations are always the handmade ones - especially the ones made by my neices when they were little. I also have one little felt lamb made by my grandmother and I when I was a young girl. It's a treasure!

FW-it is a really busy time this - especially when there are littles to be connected to family, family history and the different concepts around Christmas; and of course just the excitment of the time. Enjoy. Go well. B

FW - I love that this tree is just a tree of joy; of history; of personal rememberings. It's not trying to be stylish or up to the minute or trendy; it is heartfelt and beautiful.
