"You stand up for what you believe in, even if it gets you in the way of what others think..."

My photo
if i could use one word to describe my life SERENDIPITY seems to fit the space... i stumbled upon my husband during a time i shouldn't have and my story goes on from there... constantly falling or stumbling upon remarkable gifts and people who bring fortune to our lives... when we fall we learn and strive toward the next step.

to each of you~

nov. 11,

there is a certain unique quality of respect
that lies within this land here
a cirlce magically weaved of friends gathering
offering support and encouraging words
love felt deeply within
you read and listened
and no one ever asked why
you honored my privacy
you allowed me to share as i wanted
and peace you brought to me
knowing i need not explain my every word
you understand
acknowledge
each as an individual person
you can relate
even if our lives are so very different
we are connected
in such a beautiful way

THANK YOU

not only for yesterday
but each day that you have come here to visit

all in a matter of days
the tree outside has taken on a new look
more leaves have fallen
preparing for winter to come

i not only see this change before my eyes

i sense it

i can feel it as each day passes

no longer able to hold on
to those days of warmth
summer past
 it is gone

 autumn is at hand

we are aware that all must die
and new will come one day

a final goodbye

to the days that once were

its a cycle we have all come to know

the circle rounding

HOPE
lies quietly

knowing the seeds will be planted

and life will forever continue on

"How silently they tumble down
And come to rest upon the ground
To lay a carpet, rich and rare,
Beneath the trees without a care,
Content to sleep, their work well done,
Colors gleaming in the sun.

At other times, they wildly fly
Until they nearly reach the sky.
Twisting, turning through the air
Till all the trees stand stark and bare.
Exhausted, drop to earth below
To wait, like children, for the snow."
Elsie N. Brady, Leaves

it is a time when our spirit starts winding down

our soul finding solace
in the dark and coming barren days

a moment of calm

tranquil are the minutes that pass

there is a hush that sweeps over us

our steps becoming slower

one must begin looking a little deeper

to find comfort and enjoyment
in the quite of this day

may your autumn days bring forth
a sense of yearning
desire
that keeps you thriving
in your day to day

We are finally beginning to see the autumn here. It's a great feeling, my very favorite time. I was talking about my blog friends to hubby only about an hour ago and how blessed I feel to have you all in my life.
