"You stand up for what you believe in, even if it gets you in the way of what others think..."

My photo
if i could use one word to describe my life SERENDIPITY seems to fit the space... i stumbled upon my husband during a time i shouldn't have and my story goes on from there... constantly falling or stumbling upon remarkable gifts and people who bring fortune to our lives... when we fall we learn and strive toward the next step.

samhain sabbat swap...oh what a gift was given~

nov 1,

can you believe it...
where the days have gone
i shall not know

There is music in the meadows, in the air
Autumn is here;
Skies are gray, but hearts are mellow,
Leaves are crimson, brown, and yellow;
Pines are soughing, birches stir,
And the Gipsy trail is fresh beneath the fir.

There is rhythm in the woods, and in the fields,
Nature yields:
And the harvest voices crying,
Blend with Autumn zephyrs sighing;
Tone and color, frost and fire,
Wings the nocturne Nature plays upon her lyre."
William Stanley Braithwaite, Lyric of Autumn

well samhain has come and gone
my anticipation awaits no more

for days i've had this here
 huge box
taunting me
haunting me
testing my will power greatly so

yesterday the time had come
the wait had come to an end

my littles and i opened with excitement

are you curious to see what we have found...
what a gentle spirited creative
 and ever so inspiring
 sent our way

celebrating
samhain together
gifts from far away
yet uniting us all as one

~a magnificent circle of friends~

one picture blurred
for one wee littles hand would not slow down
he l♥ves this here fancy mail time

little ms.
how l♥ving is she

made from the talented mind and hand of her
here now lies a wonderful witch friend
to keep me company all of my days

filled within this box
were these adorable little gems
{note to self...don't open packages on bed with little around...
last night i kept finding these littles guys all through my sheets...hehehe}

beware
spookily sweet wrapped up little treat
 mama...why does it say beware???
what could be inside

"i know i know we can't eat them right?"
now why would you not be able to eat these little treats
"she put on there BEWARE"

you may be onto something dear sparkster
if that is all i need to do to waiver caution with one
hhhmmm...some tags i just may be making!!!

as we brought out each  treasure
down below i saw something that tickled me so

yet i had to keep waiting
as one wee little went for another

oh i wonder wonder what those feathers mean...

he reached for this one here and sweetly asked
"mama what do you think it could be"

are you ready to see some magic here this day
for whats coming will blow you away

a ~faerie memory jar~

 "to write little memories down
 and place inside it
to be shared each year or just to be kept as a memory"

MY HEART BE STILL

sparkster...hope you don't mind me sharing your words...
she wrote to me...
sharing all the reasons why sent forth each gift...that in itself was a beautiful blessing!

"three pins sticking out the top that
I included the one piece of paper in to show you that something could be slipped in them
 is meant to hold photos"

the
 details
the
 flawless
exquisite details upon this memory jar

...SIGH...

remember those feathers...
get ready for your eyes to see something quite gorgeous

oh my goodness
oooooohhhhhh oooooohhhhhh
is all i could say
i just about flew to the moon yesterday morn

this here lady
has completely blown me away
what fancies about artists
 are the ones who are
limitless
ideas endless
 in what they could create
and she is the definition of so

i am now properly fit
for a
 Masquerade Ball

words my words can not even begin to express
the emotions i was and am feeling

now you think
 that all i have shared
heartily a blessing for thee
but oh no
the
GENEROUS GRACIOUS HEART OF ONE
kept giving

a pumpkin totem

an upcycled creative gift
a symbol of crops
a beautiful way of honoring spirits

how cute is she
another friend for thee

do you see these postcards...

i thought she had bought them
but oh no
whatever was i thinking
why should i have ever let that thought cross my mind
with all she had already presented...

but of course this here lady must have created each one

and
 she did..amazing she really is

i think i have truly stumbled upon a

and then there were these gorgeous bits
my mind new immediately what one would create

can you sense my overwhelming joy
my wonder and amazement
as thankful for each one of these gifts i am
i think what touched me most was her email sent
explaining in detail
piece by piece
how one who knew only a pen~name for so long
had read between the lines
and felt where my mind wondered
where my spirit lies
she created each piece
based on all that i have shared
just knowing that there is one who can understand
on such level is a gift in its own

to each
and all who chose to celebrate this day
i thank you again
for being apart of this circle of friends
and helping bring forth the samhain sabbat swap

and to you
i don't even know if this will explain
even a small part of the blessings you have bestowed upon me
I THANK YOU DEEPLY FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART

to a new year ahead
may you all start this day
gracefully
peacefully
happily
shining with glee
beaming from within
walking with light
guided by your true spirit that lays within
