"You stand up for what you believe in, even if it gets you in the way of what others think..."

My photo
if i could use one word to describe my life SERENDIPITY seems to fit the space... i stumbled upon my husband during a time i shouldn't have and my story goes on from there... constantly falling or stumbling upon remarkable gifts and people who bring fortune to our lives... when we fall we learn and strive toward the next step.

rosa & josie...a challenge at hand~

nov 4,

CHALLENGE

If you were all alone in the universe with no one to talk to,
no one with which to share the beauty of the stars,
to laugh with, to touch, what would be your purpose in life?
It is other life, it is love, which gives your life meaning.
 This is harmony.
We must discover the joy of each other,
 the joy of challenge,
 the joy of growth.
Mitsugi Saotome

i am
challenging
 myself once more
it is proving to be a test of my patience
a test of my skill
my hands and mind
are trying ever so
to create a piece
of jewelry with bits from

quite some time ago
i stumbled upon
i was taken away
to a land
far far away
imagining queens and princesses and faeries a~sight

it was this magnificent piece that stole my heart
touched my soul in the most magical way

and then this

oh i couldn't help but share this one as well...

"Taking Flight"

this little piece here
has made my heart soar

...sigh...

if i could i would link all her pictures and pieces here
but i really do think the simplest way
to be on your own adventure
and taken far away
is to fly on over
and stay for awhile
be moved by her creations
each little bit
exquisitely hand made

i have linked all her pictures
so you are only a click away
from her beautiful space

and there you will see her
 at hand
will join along in this adventure
i know i am

here are a few of the bits i have gathered

each brass piece
came from the
store

tis store where you will surely find
a treasure or two
calling out to you

delicate and dainty bits i did find

sparkling crystals from my granmother
these are what is left from jewelry i made
long ago when my husband and i married

and pearls of my mother
will be in this piece

so for now
i must go
as a
is at hand

may you be filled with dazzling pieces
 to fill your spirit
and keeping your soul sparkling
this day

They are beautiful. When I see these things, I miss the days when I, too, was creative, but time does move on and I have found other ways to express the creativity inside.

I'm quite sure you will find a way to put all those pieces together in a manner fit for a Queen...

Dazzling and sparkling upon your throat :)

Have fun with your challenge! Isn't it wonderful to recycle beads and bits into a new piece of jewellry that still resonates with the old memories?

Each beauty I see enlarges my heart and mind with possibility.

Breathing taking jewelry.

Broaden our horizon with the thoughts on how important it is to love ourselves first, moving on to love others.

Excellent photo and word share. Good job!

Couldn't help but gasp at your posting today. Such gorgeousness on many, many levels.

So very true that we can only ever have compassion, empathy and understanding of others when we demonstrate the same with ourselves. Without such kindness, our love for them is only a fragile, fickle thing that can be so easily shattered and disappointed.

Oh my! Your scrummy collection of treasures made my heart skip a beat - they each seem to whispering excitedly, shining out bright beams of hope, possibility and fresh opportunity. SO looking forward to finding out what magic you weave with them, particularly given the inspiration you've been gleaning too! Enjoy!!
