i need some help
I FEEL TERRIBLE
for almost a year
i have received comments in my email inbox
some people have email addresses
and some when i go to reply comes up
well not putting a whole lot of thought behind it
{and honestly thinking it was a privacy~security thing}
i hit reply
to send a follow up comment.reply.or thank you back to
assuming
{yes...i know assuming makes an a** out of u and me}
that the email got sent back
to the kind one who left me a comment
WELL
it came to my attention yesterday
that one has never received my replies
the reply that i thought goes back to
the one who i was replying to
DOES NOT
many times i have wondered why
after i have sent a follow up
there has been no response
here i have spent a huge amount of time
personally emailing
all you wonderful people~friends
and
i think many of you
have never heard a word from me
I AM SORRY
i have been reading this moring trying to figure it out
so i am the fool who assumed such
my lesson has been learned
TO EACH OF YOU WHO TAKES TIME TO LEAVE ME YOUR SWEET KIND WORDS
AND EACH OF YOU NEW OR OLD THAT HAS CHOSEN TO STUMBLE ALONG WITH ME

i just tried sending a mail to one like that last night... i first assumed i couldn't so never used to, then tried & assumed that as the mail sent, rather than rejected, it must have gone! Ho-hum... lessons on assumptions shared.... it took me long enough to realise i could click on a name & reply direct.
I assume (!!) as i have received mails, i'm not a no-reply blogger... but have no idea what one does to make the choice, lol.
...and thank you for putting out such a wonderful blog...Happy Autumn Solstice... May the full moon shine for you ...
You are so sweet to have owned up to what most of us have from one time or another done and said nothing about. As the aussies would say Good on you girl.
Mistakes are just that....Missed takes. So we try again and hope that that is enough in the universe and in your case.....most certainly okay.

I have often felt disappointed when I get a wonderful comment and I can not reply because of this. I guess we can reply in our own comment section, but who knows if they will ever return to read it. Or we can go to their blog and leave a message in their comment section.

Hi Faer Willow...hugs!! Dont feel sad..same thing has happened to me,.i recently wondered that too! I always reply back and saw that "no reply" and realized..hmm...maybe no one knows I have answered them!
..dont feel bad at all..your intentions are far more powerful and beautiful than what occured. I truly feel intentions transcend the physical and "goodness" can be felt!
also keep in mind I suppose there are those that do not want to share their address...so they are aware of that I presume!

The best of Autumn wishes to you, as well!!! I have experienced the same sad thing as you - where I simply cannot respond to someone who has left wonderful comments on my blog. Usually it is because they have opted not to include their email in their Blogger profiles (to avoid spammers, I presume). It is my hope that those individuals will realize just how much I appreciate the time they take to come visit and read my little blog. Sometimes I feel bad because I just do not have the time to research and find a contact email. I am sure they will understand. :)

Oh, I hope that you don't feel too bad about this!! I too learned yesterday that I can set comments to go to my inbox, I had always just checked my blog itself for comments and now I feel a quite silly :) All this is such a learning process.
