This is so lovely, the words and the picture. Melissa was asking there if it's an oxymoran to call a mushroom beautiful; I've always wondered that myself. I personally find them captivating, but at the end of the day they're a fungus! But lovely all the same. And toadstools too, always so pretty. I think your quote sums it up. The oldest art indeed.
