"You stand up for what you believe in, even if it gets you in the way of what others think..."

My photo
if i could use one word to describe my life SERENDIPITY seems to fit the space... i stumbled upon my husband during a time i shouldn't have and my story goes on from there... constantly falling or stumbling upon remarkable gifts and people who bring fortune to our lives... when we fall we learn and strive toward the next step.

our adventure continues~

i treasure those mornings
when all are asleep
 it is just me
with mr. sun slowly on the rise
i sit in silence
coffee at hand
words to be read
oh how life can be grand
i watch the clouds float on by
passing with the gentle breeze
a friend who remembered
came by for a visit
the higher mr. sun rose in the sky
my time was passing on by
soon little feet were to be heard
"mama...can we go for a walk and see"
maybe a dear or two
"i found them mama...come...look"
bright yellow wildflowers
dainty little whites
golden ambered gems
all symbols of  HOPE
all REMINDERS of life
the water slowly drying
traces of pools left behind
so very soon
our place we will be
see just farther down this gravel road
the water clears and the land opens its arm
spreads far and wide
one last ride through the water
a few more moments of sand
our time has come
to pack all up
and hit the road
a last glimpse of the river
offering our praise
giving our silent goodbyes
our journey has come to an end
~i wonder when it will be again~

I love every photo and I can feel the peacefulness and perfect moments in each one. It all reminds me of the time I used to spend in the summers in New Hampshire on the lake with my kids and parents :)

what a gorgeously breathtaking place you have visited...

..it's so hard to leave one's heart-home, isn't it? bittersweet for the joy it brings, hoping that the memories will sustain you until you next tread there....*sigh*

thank you very much for your visit and your wonderfully kind and generous words...

The early hours when everybody else is still asleep...definitely my favorite time of day. I love how still and quite it is during these hours, it's almost like I could hear my own heart beat. :)
