~there's something you need to know~
there is a piece of me
that belongs to the beautiful sea
childhood memories of days gone by
a treasure that lies deep within
not only for myself are these
feelings...lie within my sister too
now with a love of the sea
comes something more...bits and pieces
sea glass cuts right through me
i have a weakness.addiction.obsession
hour upon hour i can spend
few others that i know could
they would go stir crazy...hunting
but there is one who can
she shares the same passion.desire
maybe because we were raised together
the blood flowing through our veins
is the same.connecting.uniting.us
maybe because we shared experiences together
funny as when we were young
there was no love between us
battling.bickering.arguing as sisters can
yet as time has passed by
~what a wonderful relationship we have~
it's been awhile time spent together
yesterday we drove to the beach
wee little ones all in tow
us on a mission...treasures waiting
these pictures above are from yesterday
hard. work. memories. time. shared. family.
~sharing a little piece of me~

I do believe you know me well. Your wonderful story is but a shadow of my life. I love the sea and all the treasures it holds. Nature can make something beautiful from what we humans throw away. Enchanting post.
I can tell you had a lovely time treasure hunting and creating new memories. I love your treasures! I use to collect sea glass, I thought I might make a mosaic table top with them. Instead one day I threw them back into the sea.

there is no relationship like that between sisters. i just did a post on sisters too. life would not be the same without them, that is for sure! i often wonder if its genes or because we shared so many of the same experiences as children....
How lovely! I remember hunting for sea glass with my sister too, so many years ago - though I know we never found as much as this!
Hi, beautiful thoughts and images. Very nice. Love your site.
