By now
we would've traveled near and far
but our weather is just not cooperating with us
i am Thankful for the rain
at times
don't get me wrong
all is lush and green
reaping the benefits of such
but when it is nonstop during a time
when we should be
out feeling the heat...the warmth
days we should be gardening away
days we should be tucked away in the mountains
watching the sun rise and fall
playing in the creeks and river
well...i think you get my drift

We just returned from a little vacation and had some of each...pouring rain and scorcing sun!
And even some very nice and cool mornings and evenings.

I am glad for your rain also. Our rain from now on will mostly be tropical in nature. We hope for not another Ike or Katrina this year.

So much rain for us here too. More today - but it's rarely this green here in June...so that's something I guess.
