my first thought was cleaning
yuck...
who wants to spend their days focusing on cleaning
its already a given
an inevitable life thing
its something that sucks our time & always needs to be done
What do you wish to make time for?
i guess i'll move onward and delve a bit deeper
since we homeschool
my little ones are with me
lets just say
pretty much always
so i feel they receive an abundance of time together
so this leads me to my relationship
i know i touched base on this last week
but
it really is a valuable gift
we both need to embrace
and put forth more effort
lots of
time
together
alone
i feel i can not focus enough on this at the moment
that if we try soon it will just be a way
no effort needed
time together will just happen
and one more wish please...
allowing myself more time to create
right now my time is
sneaking in moments here or there
between lessons
nothing for extended periods
where my mind is allowed
to float away
into far away places
and
simply be inspired
for an unlimited amount of time
and when i am ready
then i shall return
just as i wish

Time together alone is important, but hard to do with little ones. I too am trying to figure out how my husband and I can spend more time together to nurture our relationship.

As Faerwillow wishes for herself, I wish for her also. My Husband once told me it's good to keep the marriage (relationship) alive. In no time at all, our child will be grown and gone. Now, I am beginning to realize this as DS makes his way through High School.
Even if you have a date for a few hours-it may provide what you need.

As faerwillow wishes so I wish for her. What great wishes. I too would love more time with my hubby alone without things that need to get done. I also would love more time to create, which is really what I wish for
I can imagine both the joy and challenges of having my kids with me all the time. I think it's invaluable to make time for just you and your spouse. Once you make the commitment to it, it will become easy and little thought will be required. Also, I think it's vital to carve out alone time for YOU. Maybe just a half hour to soak in the bath once a week. As you wish for yourself, I lovingly wish for you too!
