"You stand up for what you believe in, even if it gets you in the way of what others think..."

My photo
if i could use one word to describe my life SERENDIPITY seems to fit the space... i stumbled upon my husband during a time i shouldn't have and my story goes on from there... constantly falling or stumbling upon remarkable gifts and people who bring fortune to our lives... when we fall we learn and strive toward the next step.

Domestic Witch...random acts of kindness~

i am so happy to have stumbled upon this
who doesn't enjoy doing or giving back to someone
who is expecting nothing
returning a unexpected thank you even if much time has passed
a thoughtful gesture to just show you care
acknowledging others just because
i look forward to welcoming spring in such a positive motivating way
to what will come to be

~will you join along~

Random Acts of Kindness Campaign

March begins a wonderful adventure for us dear readers. I'm hosting a new sort of giveaway: The Random Acts of Kindness Campaign. Every Random Act of Kindness you commit in March will earn you entries into my giveaway, but more importantly it could change your world!
What is a Random Act of Kindness?

All you need to do is go out of your way to do something unexpectedly kind for someone else. Other qualifying acts are Paying It Forward, Glamourbombing, Altruism, Senseless Acts of Beauty or Good Deeds. No gesture is too big or too small; we never know the ripple effect of joy and awareness a single act creates, just know that it spreads and grows.

Need some examples?

• Pay for someone’s meal behind you at a fast-food drive-thru.

• Leave $5 in a random library book to be discovered by the next loaner.

• Volunteer or donate to any worthy organization.

• Print up some inspiring signs and post them around town.

• Leave your change in the vending machine for the next person as a nice surprise.

• Send flowers.

• Shovel your neighbor’s snow.

• Baby-sit for free.

• Bring cupcakes to work.

• Create chalk art on a public sidewalk.

• Forgive.

• Send an unexpected care package.

• Mail a $5, $10 or $20 bill anonymously to someone you know who is financially troubled.

The possibilities are as endless
as your imagination.

Wonderful idea and I'd like to pass along something that's easy to do and much appreciated. If you know someone in a nursing home, this project just takes a few minutes once a week...here's the link http://grannymountain.blogspot.com/2010/01/aunt-ruthie.html

I feel random acts of kindness should be a natural gesture and something you do often without really thinking about it... Just part of life I suppose.:)
This is a lovely post, Faerwillow, to encourage people to be more thoughtful and kind to each other!:)
Have a special and magical week.

Thanks for the reminder.

I too think random acts of kindness should come naturally, and most often they do. Sometimes though we can remind our children who are often curious to know why we do them when we do them. Then again, it's a really wonderful challenge; Thanks for sharing it. I shall go over there now and put it on my blog to. Typical you spreading love and joy!!

We like to buy grocery cards and leave them in people's mailboxes. We pick people we know can really use them.
