What dream do you wish to explore?

hhmm...thought provoking & interesting question in light of a new year...
digging down deep pulling out some hidden dreams...EXPLORE...when i became a mama first time around, i was fairly young, my world shifted & my thoughts changed & mama mode kicked in, i freely, willingly put aside alot of what i dreamed of, what i dreamed to do...for my child...doing, giving, nourishing, providing & simply loving...as time has passed there is still much of life i have not discovered but more of me that has been left undiscoverd...UNEXPLORED...waiting to roam freely about...
i dare to dream of exploring more of myself, who i am buried deep within the roots of a mama...i once was a person...i once was who i dreamed to be...i once was me...i dream of exploring the carefree side of me who now sits on the cautious side trying to be a positive influence..oh how happy someone would be to have a piece of her back... i am allowed to be carefree at some time or another...right!?!...i dream of exploring the creative side of me who once wrote (who has a book hiding... waiting to be finished) & painted & doodled to my hearts content...who had no reservations of whether it is was good or bad...it was mine & thats all that matter then...i dream to explore the side of me who walks in fear now of not having one by my side...experiences events & so forth have created a barrier of anxiety...i dream to explore the unknown & walk along by myself...i know its a big wide world out there...but i can walk alone sometimes...
i dream to explore & to realize i am as strong as i once used to be...
to untangle those roots so deeply intertwined beneath the soil & allow a few to creep out...
i truly wish to EXPLORE all of me
who has been slowly pushed farther & farther down over the years
&
is dreaming of coming back out to see the light of the world
there might be someone or something out there awaiting my arrival...

Have fun learning about yourself! I think it is such a gift to ourselves and our children to take time for ourselves. Take time to remember who we were and are now so that we can learn from our experiences and be a better person. Best Wishes.

Oh hon..I am not sure why but that teared me up. Well..I do know..I have been a Mama for almost 30 years oldest 28 youngest is 6..I lost me somewhere along the line and have just this last year or so rediscovered myself. Wonderful powerful wish hon!! Hugs to you!

I dare say that you are quite a bit stronger now than you were then. Being a mama you've had live experiences, you've made decisions and survived tough times that have built you up and made you a stronger woman. So when you walk alone hold your high and know that you are as strong as the woman you were then and you are stronger because you've added the experiences of the woman you are now.
