Mars Day

The Ludovisi Ares is an Antonine Roman marble sculpture of Mars, a fine second-century copy of a late fourth-century BCE Greek original

do you stand firm in what you believe...or do you waiver on all sides for fear of others judgement or thoughts? if so, today is your day to stand firm, grounded, balanced and hold true to what lies within you...

This days planetary influence brings with it aggression, bravery and honor of soldiers...as well as passion and strength of those who must fight for what we believe in.

Planetary Influences~ Mars
Deities~ Mars was the Roman god of war, the son of Juno and Jupiter, husband of Bellona, and the lover of Venus. He was the most prominent of the military gods that were worshipped by the Roman legions. The martial Romans considered him second in importance only to Jupiter (their main god). His festivals were held in March (named for him) and October.
Lilith~Lilith (Hebrew: לילית‎ Līlīt; Arabic: ليليث‎ Līlīṯ) is a female Mesopotamian storm demon associated with wind and was thought to be a bearer of disease, illness, and death. The figure of Lilith first appeared in a class of wind and storm demons or spirits as Lilitu, in Sumer, circa 4000 BC. Many scholars place the origin of the phonetic name "Lilith" at somewhere around 700 BC despite post-dating even to the time of Moses.
Lilith appears as a night demon in Jewish lore and as a screech owl in Isaiah 34:14 in the King James version of the Bible. In later folklore, "Lilith" is the name for Adam's first wife. She is thought to be etherally beautiful, with pale skin, dark red lips and perhaps a small flash of elongated teeth. Seductive, aggressive and dangerous. To modern practioners Lilith is a patroness of witches and a goddess of sexuality, wisdom, female equality, power and independence.
