"You stand up for what you believe in, even if it gets you in the way of what others think..."

My photo
if i could use one word to describe my life SERENDIPITY seems to fit the space... i stumbled upon my husband during a time i shouldn't have and my story goes on from there... constantly falling or stumbling upon remarkable gifts and people who bring fortune to our lives... when we fall we learn and strive toward the next step.

"A bird does not sing because it has an answer,
it sings because it has a song."
maya angelou

mama birdie is home

we often wonder where she has journeyed

a long awaited voyage

a welcome return
to her home she knows

for us

her presence
her song

is a true sign of what will soon be

a change in time
a season ahead

the wheel is in turn

for eight years
and yes we like to believe
it is our mama birdie or her babies

 that have come back
they return to their home
that hangs by our back door

we patiently awaiting
 the comfort and warmth
 and life they bring

there is a true sense of joy
when you know and you see

that one has chosen
one feel safe enough
to make their nest
year after year
 in the presence of thee

how wonderful to have a bird to enjoy as it nests and raises it's new little ones... do enjoy as spring unfolds.

ooooh...i adore this!! we are the same way in our home...watching out for our friends to return....blue jays at the bird-feeder stealing peanuts....seeing which squirrel has had young ones..remembering the mother and grandmother of each and noting personality sameness and difference...LOL.

*sigh*

love the awakening time...almost as much as the darkening time...:)

xoxo
