as if my birthday hadn't been blessed enough
with the sweet surprises from my sister

he planned another trip
and took us up to the mountains
...sigh...
and you know what
THIRTY..FOUR
just kept on getting
better & better
as soon as we got on the road
it began to
SNOW
one wee older one
was in the back
capturing life as it passed
i think this is one of the coolest pictures
ever taken of my l♥ve & me
stark
naked
into the gray
pass the snowy river
back into the woods we go
climbing higher & higher
until the snow speaks no more
back down we head
twisting & turning
seeing in the distance
all the vastness & beauty these mountains behold
down on the ground

so close your eyes for a minute
imagine what an airplane propeller looks like
spinning in full motion
now insert
ME
in place of the propeller
they said my body was completely straight parallel to the ground
and i did a full 360 if not more
can you say some aches and pains to be had
but that did not stop one wee little one
or one wee older one from giving it a go
they played & played
while i took a moment of rest
and soaked up a few minutes of
my kind of play
so as for turning
THIRTY...FOUR
i have to say
i love how its turning out to this day

it seems several people i know are having birthdays at the mo.
The last time we went snowboarding, I... um... jumped on a tube. Yes, down the bunny slope I went with the five-year-olds. My hip is a coward lol
The pictures are amazing. And the one that captures speed!! Wow!!!
34 is a wonderful year, and 35 will be grand, too, I've been told. I'll tell you all about it after April ;-)

fabulous!! i have to say i absolutely LOVe tobogganing...that's a great pic of the airborne saucer....but truly don't fancy either ski-ing or snowboarding....
