take a long slow deep breath in
can you taste the cool crisp clean air
on the tip of your tongue
can you feel the snow
gently falling upon your skin
can you hear nothing
it is silent
serene
soothing
savor this moment
a sanctuary for thee
relish in your thoughts of now
for no words need be spoken
you are embraced by warmth
and love from me

This is simply a beautiful post, Faerie Willow!
I read it a few times and took some time to breath deeply.
I love your snowy photos. Snow fall is like a purification on the land. I'm still waiting for it to happen here and to breath the cold fresh air.
It's great to catch up with you again and I'm glad we have not lost touch on blogger.
Thank you for your heartfelt comment at my place. You are a lovely lady with always a kind word.
Enjoy making snow angels this winter.
Many blessings and love to you!

Your snow shots are gorgeous! We haven't had a snowfall yet this winter. Kind of strange. I would love to see some snow clinging to the branches outside. It's magical ;)
I sit at my desk in my wonderful new office space facing the window and there is so.much.snow falling - we are being enveloped by a blanket of purest white and it is stunning.
And I love you as well my daring - you are a Goddess of vision and we are so blessed when you share the photos that beautiful vision captures <3
I feel it, I do. Thank you for this dear one.
i can take in the silence from those images. much needed this week. thank you.
it is the silence I love most about a good snowfall. Going out right afterwards when it is still fresh and untrodded upon. In the night when it seems to give its own version of light and the silence. The complete sound of nothing... total serenity....enjoy
Love this post and those photos! Yes, a fresh snowfall muffles everything, doesn't it?
That was beautiful. And I loved the quote from Khalil Gibran at the top.
Aw. Thank you!...and right back at you. I think I'm going to head outside now. The trees are calling me. :)
Peaceful pictures, gentle words.....natural beauty....gorgeous!
Just glad it doesn't snow here ;P
