"You stand up for what you believe in, even if it gets you in the way of what others think..."

My photo
if i could use one word to describe my life SERENDIPITY seems to fit the space... i stumbled upon my husband during a time i shouldn't have and my story goes on from there... constantly falling or stumbling upon remarkable gifts and people who bring fortune to our lives... when we fall we learn and strive toward the next step.

oh so behind~

Jan. 22

well once more
i have been not so good
at keeping up with such kind awards

i honestly didn't realize how behind i had gotten
till last night

to each of you

i very much appreciate your thoughtfullness
and hope you accept by apologies for such delay

the sweetest of sweet
 and
magically talented one
gifted me with

&

who has and is a constant in my life
a blessings above and beyond
a beautiful friend
gifted me with

a calm soothing breeze
who shares so much beauty
gifted me

what to say...what to say
if you have not see her work
sigh
you will be taken away
your heart will be filled
your spirit moved
she is a gift of light and love in my day to day
gifted me

one i have only come to know as of late
but a great gift of strength she is
with a heart always ready to give
gifted me

so as you know with all of these

you share share share and pass them around

i once more shall break the rules

you would have a novel if i wrote about each one
and frankly i do not think i have so many fascinating things to share about me

so

since there are 6 awards

6 things i shall share

i once tried to run away from home in jr. high
i made it down to the far end of our street
stood there in the dark
thought for only a few shorts minutes
then hung my head
and began my walk of shame back home

i am very soft spoken majority of the time
but when need be
i can raise quite a commotion
i tend to be strong willed
and as some in my life would say
STUBBORN
no no no...not me : )

i grew up in the
grunge era
{shall also be a hint as to where i may reside}
and i loved it
still do
personal preference
pearl jam over nirvana

i have dated a total of 6 people
four were fairly long
but alas they came and went
one lasted from my ninth grade year till the beginning of my twenties
he is one whom i married
only a few short years
so now you know something new
i have been married and divorced
and the other
is my love
who is where my heart belongs
and is here to stay

when i met my husband
he and his friends would always go shooting high up in the mountains
it was there i shot a shotgun for the first time
and hit dead on
right in the middle of the target
we are apart of a sportsmens club
and going shooting is one of our past times
would you have ever guessed such about me...hehehe

in my younger days
my husband i and his friends were once chased by the police
and somehow just somehow
we
escaped
no worries we were really doing nothing to terribly wrong
and it was not my willing choice to run
i was in the car...what else could i have done...jump!

so 6 wee bit different things
you have now come to know about me

and so as it goes
i am suppose to pass this along to many

but i am going to follow the path of many this day

each and everyone of you
is deserving of these awards
so which ever one you wish to take
its yours
from me to you

thank you for all that you share with me each day

I ran away from home when I was 13. I went to the house of my mom's best friend (she lived 3 houses down the street). My mom knew all about it, but pretended she didn't. I went back home sulking because she ignore my bad behavior lol.

Pearl Jam over Nirvana any day!

CONGRAT'S. on all your awards, Faerwillow! Your beautiful blog and lovely words always make me smile and nod my head in empathy, so I'm really glad you won these. I wanted to run away ever since I was a little girl because home was such a scary place for me. You have a lot of courage and strength to keep going despite everything. I'm quite older than you ;) and while you grew up with "grunge" I grew up with "punk" and the Sex Pistols, lol...

Yes, I can just see you, Faerwillow -- plaid shirt, tousled hair, Pearl Jam blasting out the car windows, careening down the highway, guns blazing, cops in pursuit, sirens blaring and lights flashing . . . . Everyone has a secret life and yours is a doozy, my girl!
