"You stand up for what you believe in, even if it gets you in the way of what others think..."

My photo
if i could use one word to describe my life SERENDIPITY seems to fit the space... i stumbled upon my husband during a time i shouldn't have and my story goes on from there... constantly falling or stumbling upon remarkable gifts and people who bring fortune to our lives... when we fall we learn and strive toward the next step.

to each of you~

“I expect to pass through this world but once;
any good thing therefore that I can do,
or any kindness that I can show
 to any fellow creature,
 let me do it now;
let me not defer or neglect it,
for I shall not pass this way again.”
Stephan Grellet

dec. 20

there is a certain sense of comfort
knowing one can come here
at their happiest or weakest
and find someone who cares enough
to listen and to lift your spirit up

overwhelming words
 wishes
prayers & blessings

your words
filled my spirit

to each and everyone of you
who took the time
to share such beautiful words
for my grandfather and our family
THANK YOU

i am happy to say
my grandfather is doing well
his blood work has come back normal
we are still waiting for all his results
from the tests done on his heart to come back
hopefully today

but i have faith
especially knowing how many are on our side
that all will come back normal

the hardest part about all of this is

he leaves each winter
and travels where the sun shines bright
so there are none of us there to help
we become completely helpless
and that is a not so good feeling when you know a loved one has suffered from a health issue
so all we can do is continue to hope and pray
that he will be ok

i am blessed beyond words
to know so many beautiful spirits

~THANK YOU A THOUSAND TIMES OVER~

(((((hugs))))) oh, i'm so very, very glad. i've been thinking about you and your grandfather this past few days...selfishly hoping you'd post with some news..;)

what you send out into the world, is what comes back to you....so there is no wonder that love and light flocks immediately to you in your time of need.

much love...and continued wishes for our Grandfather's recovery...

It's so hard to be a long distance away from an ill loved one but I'm sure he feels your love radiating to him even over the miles.

I'm so glad to hear your grandfather is getting stronger, Faerwillow. I know how a family member who's ill stresses everyone with cause and concern. You need to remember to take good care of yourself darling and know that you've loved. Sending you and your family many blessings.

First of all, thank you, so much, for your thoughtful and kind words...it means so very much to me. You made my day! Secondly, I wish all the best for your Grandfather. I'm so grateful to hear the tests came back okay. It's always so difficult dealing with the illness of those we love. You will be in my thoughts and prayers. The warm and beautiful sunshine will give him much needed strength and happiness :-) Enjoy the rest of your week...Sheila

i'm so glad to hear that's he's doing well. it is shockingly frightening when loved ones are afflicted like this. especially so when there is distance.

my FIL had a heart attack 2 yrs ago and we weren't in the country. helpless is the word alright.

sending you strength and inner peace during this time.

FW - The challenge of ageing and the associated health problems of those we love is such a challenge. Sending positive vibes for both you and your grandfather. Go well. B

These are such wonderful news about your grandfather. It is always difficult to deal with such situations when loved ones are affected and even more so when they are not close, it just leaves us feeling helpless.
I very much hope that he will recover fully. Do take care, the warmest wishes to you and your family!
