last night we watched
the salton sea
a movie we've seen before
i don't know how much i would recommend seeing it
as there are some disturbing scenes, vioence, drugs, ect
if you can get past the first part of the movie
then the story line is a bit interesting
definitely not a movie to watch with littles around
after this scene
his wife asks:
What do you think of when you play?
I just think about what life would
be like without you.
the sound of the trumpet
waxing and waning
lingering
is
hauntingly
achingly
beautiful

I went and looked up this film on Wikipedia -- holy moly! No one plays crazy like Vincent D'Onofrio though.

Beautiful comment from your sweet husband, xoxo
Oh my. Sometimes words are so inadequate, and so much can be expressed through music or art. Wow, beautiful. I've never heard of this movie and will have to look it up.
Thank you, also, for your warm reply. I'm not a very sentimental person, but there are just a few items that I cannot bear to part with because of what they represent.
Have a wonderful Sunday!
It is hauntingly beautiful...I'm going to have to see if I can find this film...seems like I've seen it before?

I have a friend who lived on the Salton Sea for many years...has wonderful memories...he would like to go back there, but knows it's changed...as has he by the passage of years...
