"You stand up for what you believe in, even if it gets you in the way of what others think..."

My photo
if i could use one word to describe my life SERENDIPITY seems to fit the space... i stumbled upon my husband during a time i shouldn't have and my story goes on from there... constantly falling or stumbling upon remarkable gifts and people who bring fortune to our lives... when we fall we learn and strive toward the next step.

a gracious gift from thee~

Good friends are like stars.
You don't always see them,
but you know they are always there.

when i think of being here
i often am reminded of this quote

we are all coming together

uniting
supporting
sharing
encouraging

we are all becoming friends with one another

a true blessing we all have in our lives

i have stumbled across
one amazing person

he creates exquisite art
using pieces of what many would think of as nothing
and brings it to life once more

this little blessing bowl has come from lands far away
a gift from one i will call a friend
and a superior
craftman
A man who practices a craft with great skill.

he works and creates with metal

Any of a category of electropositive elements that usually have a shiny surface,
are generally good conductors of heat and electricity, and can be melted or fused,
hammered into thin sheets, or drawn into wires. Typical metals form salts with nonmetals,
basic oxides with oxygen, and alloys with one another.

taking the ordinary
the pieces less likely to be seen and turns them into

blessings

Something promoting or contributing to happiness, well-being, or prosperity;

is the infusion of something with holiness,
divine will, or one's hope or approval

forging and fabricating
creating and emitting
PEACE
through his brilliant work

“May your days be many and your troubles be few.
May all God's blessings descend upon you.
May peace be within you may your heart be strong.
May you find what you're seeking wherever you roam.”
Irish Blessings

JOY
felt and recieved simply by seeing and knowing that this was once
a piece of metal
that may have never come to be again
yet
Barry
finds and gives
Joy
to  these types of pieces

May you always find JOY in all that you do

LEAF

The single leaf
is an ancient heraldic symbol said to signify
happiness

delicate and fragile
yet
enduring
forever lasting

Barry it is with great honor i will always treasure such pieces

if you have never stumbled over for a visit
to see this wonderful craftman and his work
oh i do think you should drop on by
and say hello to this friend
