Carpe diem,

"Seize the day,
trusting as little as possible in the future",
Quintus Horatius Flaccus

Tu ne quaesieris, scire nefas, quem mihi, quem tibi

i remember dead poets society
as a young girl
and those words remained
"Carpe diem.
Seize the day, boys.
Make your lives extraordinary."
the sign above
i made as a reminder
to take hold of my life
in those times
when i feel life is slipping through my fingers
like tiny grains of sand

Ahhhh! Thank you for the wonderful comments you left on my blog and for taking your time. May I please ask you how you found my blog?
BTW, you also mentioned that you did not find an email link for me. I will post one on my profile but please do not laugh. I use it to screen emails sent to me and then I respond with my functional email. Okay? Thanks.
Yes, seize the day and then what? Today - I need to clean the bathrooms and then exercise. I need to walk, I miss my daily 2-mile walk with my husband, too many things happening at the same time, we had to miss it for two weeks.
I am a worry wart. I worry. I cannot help it. My husband reminded me not to worry and he rephrased something he has heard which I now repharse and probably screw up:
...see I can't remember the darn phrase but it was something about
today being a gift, that is why it is called the present.
I am terrible at punchlines too. I always screw up the jokes.
How are you today?
Good morning!
Wonderful reminder - and very cool sign - I know you are in my life for a reason - I always am inspired here, xoxo
I so need to do this, I have felt like I have been losing too much control of my life lately.
Thank you so much for always being there with your amazing words of encouragement. Just know that your words and kindness always makes a difference in my life, and I thank you!!
Have a wonderful weekend.
Sincerely,
Melinda
I needed this reminder. Although my goals have been set, I seem to be moving in every direction but towards them.
