My photo
if i could use one word to describe my life SERENDIPITY seems to fit the space... i stumbled upon my husband during a time i shouldn't have and my story goes on from there... constantly falling or stumbling upon remarkable gifts and people who bring fortune to our lives... when we fall we learn and strive toward the next step.

faerwillow,
These are sooooooooooo beautiful. Even in photograph, there is a certain tranquility about them. I just smile looking at them. You certainly seem to have this calming quality added to the many creations you display. Or at least I have always gotten that feeling. These are definitely no exception.

blessings & hugs!

It seems that actually creating these lovelies is proving to be be very engaging too hee hee! But I'm not altogether surprised. I sooo love all the variations in size, shape, texture and colour... each bead such a comforting and calming source of 'focus' for those fearful or anxious moments.

I remember seeing once a long 'shepherds' crook that had been used while looking after the family flock up high up in the mountains where fierce wild animals roamed. Along its length were carvings, all different and some quite obscure. But each of them were reminders to the shepherd of all that he had been through in the past: times when he had to be courageous, been rescued or had a narrow escape. Other marks were simple acknowledgements of all that he had to be thankful for and situations that had touched him in his life. Whenever he was in danger or even when he was sitting watching over his flock alone, his staff was constant reminder and comfort for him. I wonder if these beads could be used in a similar way too.
