~week 39~
i joined the
art heart and healing class
learned to draw my first front face portrait
and create a journal spread
from there i have been on this fun filled adventure of wanting more
the rest are beginning and or middles
still alot more to be done
all waiting to be finished
to the power of learning something new
quite a rewarding feeling
none perfect...just discovering where i want to go
with this little tool i've learned
to realize it is possible to accomplish what your mind sets out to do
HUGE
isn't she the sweetest...
i can't wait to bring her to life
~week 40~
my wee little has to do vision therapy
his one little eye does not like to co~operate so well
and tends to go to sleep per say
part of this therapy is finding new ways to make it fun
wake his wee little eye up and let it come out to play
last week his therapist suggested a bean bag game
patch one eye and play catch
take turns with each eye being covered and then toss the beanbag to eachother
well no beanbags at hand
so whats a mama to do
MAKE SOME
i knitted some squares
6 to be exact
{there are 3 of them i made but last night they were playing with them and i could only find 2!!!}
filled them with pinto beans
and crocheted them together
now bean bags we have
40 weeks have passed

i would have seen it and just passed on by
but
Jane

52 projects
which has expanded my thinking
always wondering what next
i need to attempt the new

I love your drawings. She is very beautiful! I'm really liking your idea for the bean bags too. I have learning to crochet on my list. I got a book at the library and I'm working on getting my yarn and needles for my first project. Thanks for stopping by my blog. I'm going to check out what else you have done for the 52 project.
I love this post! The artwork is lovely, the beanbags are adorable and the game sounds like fun, not therapy. And the thank you to Jane is certainly one I second, but thank you for taking the time to write it so beautifully.
You're so lucky to have your art! I wish I could draw...
Hey you....I love your art, heart, healing drawings....I did what I said I would do and I just now posted my first....just because I said I would to you...and that is important to me and so are you. The Olde Bagg.
Your artwork is beautiful!! I can't wait to see more :) ~Lauren
Wonderful post! To be filled with the magic of possibilities, the excitement of unending inspiration and the satisfaction of knowing it all resides within you is very powerful!
I'm really loving your light :)
You are doing such a great job with your portraits for the art journaling class! Your first finished page is just magical! Hope your little one is doing better with his therapy. How great to be able to play a fun game as therapy! Theresa
This post has made me smile. (Though to be honest, most of yours do!) But I always find it a particular pleasure when being allowed to witness someone discovering a new aspect of their creativity. And your girls are so...delightful really! Thank you for sharing them with us. :)
Momma knitted bean bags have to be much better for that sorta thing than some wrinky storebought ones. They're filled with love that helps that eye wake up. Bless your little one.
how lovely that you made bean bags to play with
and
your ladies are oh so lovely!
