"You stand up for what you believe in, even if it gets you in the way of what others think..."

My photo
if i could use one word to describe my life SERENDIPITY seems to fit the space... i stumbled upon my husband during a time i shouldn't have and my story goes on from there... constantly falling or stumbling upon remarkable gifts and people who bring fortune to our lives... when we fall we learn and strive toward the next step.

gluten free
CHEESECAKE

it can be done

a sweet little one
found this little place
so with a click of a hand
i was off to see
a beautiful blog awaiting me

the recipes for both can be found

&

all i can say was this was oh so simple
and what a tasty treat

oh and remember
i am one who doesn't quite follow recipes
so mine will differ a bit from the other

Pie Crust

preheat oven 325 degrees

1 cup almonds

put in food processor
till finely ground

add 3/4 cup brown sugar

1 egg

1 tsp almond extract

1/4 tsp cinnamon

1/4 tsp kosher salt

mix all together

pat down in greased and floured springform pan
bake 10-15 min
let cool

CHEESECAKE

preheat oven 350 degrees

4 cups softend cream cheese

beat till light & fluffy

1 cup sugar
mix till incorporated

1 egg
mix till incorporated

1 egg
{total of two}
mix till incorporated

1/4 tsp salt
mix till incorporated

1 tsp vanilla
{remember my homemade vanilla}
mix till incorporated

now you have a beautiful rich creamy filling

bring back your prebake pie crust

pour in your filling
bake up to 1 hour
{check towards the latter part}
remove
COOL COMPLETELY

now me and my blueberries don't fall far from the spoon
so i had to put an extra sweet twist to this cake
blueberries lemon zest & juice sugar water
put in a pan simmer away
while waiting for cake to be done

it was a day filled with friends
and the next morning
no shame
when i couldn't resist
to start my day without some of this

Hi Faerwillow, sweetie,
Now you are talking. I love, love, love cheesecake. It is so naughty but very nice... Yummy! ;-)
Thank you for sharing a nice easy recipe. I have not had cheesecake for a long time. I will buy the ingredients tomorrow and make one!
Thanks also for your lovely sweet comment at my place and I'm pleased to hear you are a Foxglove fan too. Your garden sounds wonderful when the foxes are in flower. They are magical little creatures! ;-)
Much love and light to you as well.

Oh, I know that it's very unlady-like to drool, but I don't care!! This looks simply scrumptious!! I've always been one of those "aww, lets just buy one" type of girl, but looking at how simple the recipe seems to be, I might just dare myself and use my own hands this time! :D :D

Peaches & Cream Moisturizer
{just the name makes me want to melt}

The name alone has me in the ware drawer, scrounging for a spoon! (It sounds delicious!)

Your cheesecake snapshot are heavenly to pour over, which is what I did! Oh to be that egg, hiding in the folds of CC fluff!

Cheesecakes is one of the things I strived to perfect when my husband told me of how much he loved them soon after marrying. This one looks delicious! I love making crusts from nuts!

And the Peaches and cream moisturizer.....delightful!!! Makes my mouth water just thinking of the smell.
