"You stand up for what you believe in, even if it gets you in the way of what others think..."

My photo
if i could use one word to describe my life SERENDIPITY seems to fit the space... i stumbled upon my husband during a time i shouldn't have and my story goes on from there... constantly falling or stumbling upon remarkable gifts and people who bring fortune to our lives... when we fall we learn and strive toward the next step.

it all comes to an end~

"he is rich

Wealth of Nature"
socrates

i know... i know
more pictures of camping
{as i said before...i returned home with over 600 hundred photos}
please do bear with me
if i am driving you all crazy
its just i can't quite help myself
when out in the woods
i am beyond inspired
by the gifts of nature

sunday morning i woke
to darkness lingering

after i put the kettle on
i walked down by the river

pulled up my chair
and
looked up into the hills
to see
 glitter sprinkled throughout the trees

be still
my beating heart

they glistened
they glowed

even the river
twinkled
just so

a magical moment

was truly arising

in all my days
i have yet to see

something
quite like thee

as my minutes
turned into hours

and daylight was upon me

i was inspired to write
{i think per the course i joined... let fly}

my silence

was
blissful
peace

our little friend
had not forgotten
to drop bye
and say hello

and
as if life hadn't been good enough

one mama dear
walking her wee little three

Deer Symbolism

When we encounter the deer in the wild
 our
 breath catches
 we are
transfixed by their graceful features
 and
delicate movements.
The tender beauty of these beasts
has not gone unnoticed by our ancestors.

The deer is linked to
the arts, specifically poetry and music
in ancient Celtic animal lore due to its graceful form.
 The Celts also believed that
deer were associated with the fairie realm

symbolism of the deer

Love.Grace.Peace.Beauty.Fertility.Humility.Swiftness
Regrowth.Creativity.Spirituality.Abundance.Benevolence.Watchfulness

silence is golden
and last only so long

to be so young
to gather such thoughts
a beautiful gift indeed

time to get in the water
as the sun was now high above

this gorgeous one
felt the need for water as well

and then
a rare glimpse
was taken of me

please oh please
can we take this one home
if you can get it to the truck...its all yours
ain't no mountain high
ain't no river low
nor no heart to heavy

so as we crossed the bridge
to head back home
all hearts were in tow

one last glance at the lake

absorbing the sights

along the way

being thankful for all
 and
the mountain that welcomes us home

You vacationed with the elements, the love of your life, and your blessed children. Refreshed indeed.

The tip toe of morning above the trees is breath taking and gave me chills!

Sweet visit from a deer.

Splendid photos! Great post!

Blessings, sandi

While I would never camp (me + a tent in the woods = nobody's happy) I have totally enjoyed viewing your trip.

A coupla things:
1. You cheated with your picture, we can't see your gawgeous face!
2. Thanks for the eye candy.
3. The 4th picture from the bottom looks like there's a face in the mountain.

Thanks for sharing this trip with us!

So beautiful. Ah, it's been a long time since I camped in the mountains. We used to go to Bear Mountain...Can you believe it's been over 40 years for me?
