i had seen these in many magazines now and before
and some similar ideas on blogs
so
i thought i would try my hand at it with my wee little ones
adding my own twist
pages from
"the ugly duckling"
turned out pretty sweet
think we will be leaving these out for spring
need not only be an easter decoration

Oh, I love these eggs -- so not your run of the mill decorated Easter eggs. And yes, leave them out for Spring or all year!
Blessings,
G
These are great! How fun you used the "Ugly Duckling" book pages.
These are wonderful....and yes leave them out, but this comes from a decorate for holiday - aholic.
Thanks for your comment on my silk dyed eggs. If you would like to try some....send me your address on my email and I will mail you a few of the gorgeous scraps and you give it a go. ((((hugs))) until next time
i love these! i always think i will do something more elaborate (okay, how about just different?) for our eggs and then the holiday leaps upon me and there we are dying pastel eggs!
hope you had a glorious Easter weekend. Happy Spring!
Those eggs are amazing!! They are so pretty and that's the perfect story to put on your eggs. Thank you so much for stopping by my blog, 15 Bella Vie, and becoming a friend. I love your blog site, it's so lovely! And the name is wonderful!
Have a great day.
Sincerely,
Melinda
What a wonderful project! I could envision these eggs lying in an actual bird's nest somewhere or resting in a little bowl next to a stack of books. I'll bet the boys had fun too!
The metallic bits are just wonderful on these eggs - they make them so elegant.
Lovely

These are really unique and special. You did a terrific job and I agree that the touches of paint look perfect.
They are perfect! I am hoping to do something similar next year when my daughter is a tad older.
