"You stand up for what you believe in, even if it gets you in the way of what others think..."

My photo
if i could use one word to describe my life SERENDIPITY seems to fit the space... i stumbled upon my husband during a time i shouldn't have and my story goes on from there... constantly falling or stumbling upon remarkable gifts and people who bring fortune to our lives... when we fall we learn and strive toward the next step.

Wishcasting Wednesday~

“You can have anything you want
if you want it badly enough.
You can be anything you want to be,
do anything you set out to accomplish
if you hold to that desire with singleness of purpose.”
Abraham Lincoln

in our day to day
i find it hards sometimes to not get swooped up
and whirled away by all that is happening

times this can leave me feeling as
nothing significant has or was accomplished

What do you wish to accomplish?

at the end of the day
when it is time for me to lay my head
and wander off to a far away place
dream ever so sweetly

i want to know my day was filled
filled with satisfaction
a sense of fulfillment for the hours that have passed
that i took hold of the minutes that were upon me
and did something
not always grand
maybe sitting in silence with my family
or
tinkering away

i wish to accomplish a whole world of things
yet reality proves this just can not be so
but if i try one thing at a time
focus for moments throughout the day
then slowly this world of things
will be whittled away
and i may actually see progress made

♥ i finished my etsy account a few months ago...
NOW need to put forth the effort to list items

♥ knitting...complete ONE at a time
currently have four projects going on

♥ art...i get scattered brained...i start something
then another idea comes to mind
well then i am off putting those thoughts into action

♥ children...remain as patient as i possible can...
even if i have to dig deep

♥ clear communication...compassionate...with ALL

♥ a sense of order to some degree in our home
it is not large and we have to be creative
with where our things go
organize
something i feel i am constantly doing

and

♥ give...open my and keep it open
we give to give without hesitation

i could go on and on
but i think this is a good start
who knows maybe today i will earn a gold star!

As Faerwillow wishes for herself, I wish for her as well. I think your list is not only a good start but a wonderful list that we all can relate to. In my book you have already earned many, many gold stars.

Ah, reading that is like looking at my own thoughts. Some days I feel like I don't accomplish anything. Today I am working closely to a list and ticking things off. Trouble is as fast I tick, another item appears...
As you wish for yourself my friend, so I wish for you also.

Beautiful post...as usual. I can get pretty scatter-brained also. I especial do this with books...start reading one, get a new one...and then another one. Have to put this one on my list.

You are such a sweet soul. I am sure, if we could see your chart....there would be a myriad of gold stars just for the way you make lots of people think, smile, ponder and dream. You're a goodie. Thanks. (((hugs)))until next time

I'll give you a gold star! Like I say to my students, you learn more by the journey than by reaching the destination and you've taken the most important steps just by making your intentions clear. So inspirational.

As Faerwillow wishes for herself, I wish for her as well. I love most your prose - poem above your list. And I wish you the best in accomplishing the things on your list. I can very much relate to the challenge. Cheers from Colorado! - Lisa

im going to give you 3 gold stars. yes 3. and you can put them on your forehead and wear them proudly like you did when you were a little girl and when anyone asked what they are for you just say..."because i am beautiful and I CAN ACCOMPLISH THINGS!"
your list looks an awful lot like mine would look bless your heart.
thanks for the encouragement.
happy thursday.

I feel like your list is a duplicate of every thing I say to myself each day. I'm trying to find ways to be more gentle with myself because I tend to be terribly hard on myself for my scattered brain and my lack of organization. Positive affirmations are definitely helping me :)
