My photo

52 Projects...week 7~

this week has been filled with a variety new
trying to decide which to post about...
so i though i would share bits and pieces of each

usually when this time of year arrives i am already outside
tending and weeding
well lack of cooperative weather
and
sicknesses lingering in my home
this time has been limited
there is still MUCH worked needed to be DONE
as for my garden
i have never started seeds indoors
my magick must be fair
and my thumb partially green
becasue our seeds are sown right into the ground
and all comes to life

well we decided to try starts indoors

sugar snap peas, moonflowers, pumpkins, heirloom cherry tomatoes
 just to name a few

i am excited to finally put to use this vintage glass water mister that i have
had for who knows how long

it works
perfectly
for giving these seeds a wee little drink of water
 each day

i am partaking in

~31 questions~

as a way to get me journaling more
 but also
with the added spark of creativity

http://collagediva.typepad.com/truenorth/

each day she leaves a prompt
for you to do as you wish with it

i pulled out my paints
a blank journal
and
this is what i have been attempting to do

some of them are left unanswered

as i like the idea of reflecting upon them more than just once

yet i too i think that writing the answers
 and
coming back to see if anything has changed
is also a wonderful way to see growth
so for now
some will be answered
and
other the answer remains unknown

lastly...i know...i know...this is a long post

i am also participating ~ working towards this...
when i first did a post about her giveaway
some took this as it should just be a way of life
well unfortunately for many it is NOT
we try hard in our own family to be
thoughtful, courteous, polite, giving, helpful
the list could go on and on...haha
but
i feel we are also guilty of forgetting when our lives get hectic
and
 soon we realize
hhhmmm
when was the last time i did something
just because
NOT
because you had to
BUT
because you WANTED to

i also felt it would be a great time
to help encourage my little ones to think outside the box
and see what they could give back

for me...ya a giveaway is a fabulous gesure...but as i said before
it is the mere ACT in itself that will be the most rewarding
and
 as this will end
hopefully all who participated
will continue on
such a sweet way of living
so reguardless
of your race
or spiritual beliefs

~we can all make a change in someones day~

my list of random things is on myside bar to the left

it helps me take a moment from my day
and
think about another
and
what sort of something could i do
to bring a bit more sunshine to their day
BELIEVE ME
its challenging yet great fun

Lovely!!! I love the idea of the planting indoors. I'm thinking about planting my kitchen herb box soon. I admire you for your other projects too. Happy Sunday!

I have been thinking about doing some container gardening, but am admittedly intimidated by it.

I also love the way your journal pages look. Those look like some deep questions!

we too are goignto start planting indoors. My thumb is a darkened brown. Not quite black but close. We'll see if anything grows.

I had my kindergartens do one act of kindness each school day one year. We tried not to repeat. The kidlets loved coming up with different ideas and seeing what the kindness did for others.

Nice. I tried to start my seeds indoors last year, unfortunately I am not blessed with having good sunlight. So, it was not as successful. Maybe I should invest in a kit... but I hope it works for you! I am waiting for the last frost to go so I can put my seeds then :) As for giving, I totally agree with you. I had tried to do my share in this department and to teach my daughter as well.

I love our blogging community, you always find something interesting and fun to pass your time with. I love the Random Acts of Kindness project - how wonderful. I'm going to start first thing. There's always the fear that people will thing you are either weird or want something but hey... I don't care! I once mowed a neighbours lawn because it looked like it needed doing and I just thought it was so easy to do as I had my mower out. I think he thought I was trying to prove a point. Oh well!

Love the seedlings. I sprout stuff indoors all the time. We have small avocado tree that I sprouted from a pit :)

Also, thanks for the nudge to act.

Love your blog . . . just found it a few days ago through Domestic Witch, I think. I too am participating in the Random Acts of Kindness campaign. It has been so inspiring.

I love your drawings! So beautiful ;-)
