"You stand up for what you believe in, even if it gets you in the way of what others think..."

My photo
if i could use one word to describe my life SERENDIPITY seems to fit the space... i stumbled upon my husband during a time i shouldn't have and my story goes on from there... constantly falling or stumbling upon remarkable gifts and people who bring fortune to our lives... when we fall we learn and strive toward the next step.

words to ponder~

“The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude, to me, is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, the education, the money, than circumstances, than failure, than successes, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness or skill. It will make or break a company... a church... a home. The remarkable thing is we have a choice everyday regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past... we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude. I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% of how I react to it.
And so it is with you...
we are in charge of our Attitudes.”
Charles R. Swindoll

another long quiet morning
all still tucked away
oh how lucky i can be
a busy weekend filled with love
visits to family near and far
little ones art~music recital awaits tomorrow
today as we travel i will be crocheting
listening to music
and snapping up pictures along the way
savoring moments with my family
cherishing the minutes that we still have
longing for them to always be
my 52 projects complete for the week!
bills have been paid
phone calls have been made
so in between the driving about
i have hopes of more baking to continue throughout
tea to be drank
and some champange too
what can i say
i am a sucker for sweet delights
a weekend to indulge
and embrace
home tomorrow night to eat togther as one
filling our tummies with some cheese fondue
warm hot bread
a wee bit of chocolate
but i promise just a few
i here a little voice calling
so now is my time to go
as breakfast needs to be made
this is a bit of what my hands will be doing today
and now i leave you with those words above to ponder

Faerwillow that sounds absolutely magical... May you enjoy your bubbles and your fondue and a big cuddle from the one you love! As to having the right Attitude - now you don't have a problem with that I can see ;-)

Sounds like a super weekend - and great words to remember - I'll work of being grateful I have a house than can be torn up by remodeling instead of freaked out by the mess of the remodel - thanks for the reminder!

I could not agree with you more. I have been working on adjusting my attitude a lot of lately and have had profound reactions from my family and close friends. Life is certainly what we make it.

Couldn't agree more on the thoughts on attitude. Following them is hard sometimes, but it DOES seem to be true.
