* rain barrel~ keep searching on craigslist for old oak barrel
A rainwater barrel is a water tank which is used to collect
and store rain water runoff, typically from rooftops via rain gutters.
Rainwater barrels are devices for collecting
and maintaining harvested rain.
* worm composting~ would love to make our own wood one...and aquire red worms!
* compost area~ we on and off again compost...for me the motivation factor dulls as i am not happy with its space in our yard...need to find a more suitable home for this!
i like the idea of a confined neat space...
* transplant~ in need of a transplant...sound scary huh! my grandma always said "all the months with r's you can transplant in your yard...so only a few months (about 4) to give these babies new homes and split up ones that need more space to multiply
* expand garden~ bring garden out by another couple feet...need more room to work and grow
* make a list of new items for garden....asparagus, artichoke! and many more....
i just read an article about bare root veggies...
Jan~Feb is the time to get in them ground
current perinneals:
everbearing strawberries, blueberries, quince tree, apple tree, italian parsly, echinacea, calendula, peppermint, gold oregano, sage, rosemary, chives...just to name a few!
what we usually grow: tomatoes, basil, butter head lettuce, roman lettuce, cherry & grape tomatoes, carrots, celery, pumpkins, zuchini, green bell peppers, sugar snap peas, corn...
would like: potatoes year round,
try: asparagu, artichoke, broccoli...i am sure my list will continnue to grow
* TREE HOUSE~ this is huge for me....research plans and ideas!
as birthdays for our sweet ones are very close together...i would like to build them a tree house as their birthday gift...it would graciously take the place of toys and create memories to last them a lifetime!

Our home we're moving into this week has a tree house and my Littleman couldn't be more thrilled. I also want to get a rain barrel and begin composting. I think with the composting I am going to get one of those barrel looking things that you turn. I don't think I could handle anything more involved.
Best wishes!
A treehouse?!? Really?!? Sounds so great :)
What a wonderful "to do" list!
I love the tree house!
Makes me want to get out in the yard...
