this is our way of celebrating a new morning...the first day of a new year...
these require PATIENCE & TIME...it takes a couple batches to get familiar with flipping but once you get the swing of it...quite a tasty treat
if you have apples or pears on hands dice small simmer in a pan and add your favorite syrup warm and serve on top

Those pancakes look amazing and I'm definitely going to try them. I've made apple pancakes which look similar.
Oooh - yum! I love the idea of having a breakfast tradition!
Yummo! But I have yet to find a place that I can buy buttermilk locally (or maybe I don't have the right translation!)
