"You stand up for what you believe in, even if it gets you in the way of what others think..."

My photo
if i could use one word to describe my life SERENDIPITY seems to fit the space... i stumbled upon my husband during a time i shouldn't have and my story goes on from there... constantly falling or stumbling upon remarkable gifts and people who bring fortune to our lives... when we fall we learn and strive toward the next step.

she is just what i needed~

“What can we gain by sailing to the moon
if we are not able to cross the abyss
that separates us from ourselves?
This is the most important
of all voyages of discovery,
and without it,
all the rest are not only useless,
but disastrous.”
Thomas Merton

what a month of emotions

after the other night

she
is just what i needed

for the
American Indian (Choctaw)
August full moon is named
Women's Moon

for me there couldnt have been a more fitting name
{as of this moment in my life}
see as she waxed
began growing in strength

alas so did the turmoil inside me
whooshing in and out
all around me

creating such emotions
yet leaving me standing still
almost frozen in thought

“Every one is a moon,
and has a dark side which he never shows to anybody.”
Mark Twain

losing balance
control
i felt the tighter i pulled
the more life was slipping away

If the Sun and Moon should ever doubt,
 they'd immediately go out.
William Blake

so on that night
as she climbed higher and higher

i stepped out beneath her light
refocused my energy
reclaimed my thoughts

“The moon is at her full, and riding high,
Floods the calm fields with light.
The airs that hover in the summer sky Are all asleep to-night.”
William C. Bryant

feeling her within me
allowing her to cleanse my being

sensing the peace
she ever so was giving me

~i am ready with open arms for what will come my way~

Just beautifully expressed. As the moon waxes and wanes, so does the emotional tide that is our life. I am so glad to hear you are feeling better and wish you everything peaceful and fulfilling.

Hugs and smiles

Wow, this is one of the most wonderful and inspiring blog posts I've ever come across. It makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Your own words, and those you selected, compliment your photographic account of Her nightly trek across the sky so beautifully. Thanks for bringing a little moonlight to my day.
