change will come soon...
arthur rackham...twilight dreams
dark is slowing fading
though the snow and rain may still be falling
fires will continue to burn
flickering...lighting our homes all aglow
the trees remain bare
the flowers still hiding
beneath the comfort of their grounds
there are few birds to hear singing
animals to watch in their scurry
they are all waiting
we are all waiting
yet there is a sense hope
that will forever be
we are brinking on what is to come
half way through the cold and the dark
soon it will be spring
the faeries fly
throughout the night
srinkling dust to coat our minds
warming our thoughts
cleaning and decluttering
our surroundings and spirit
all to soon
in the early morning hours
mr. sun will once more rise
and stay perched up in the big wide open sky
for longer days and light for thee
life will begin to emerge from the barren
the quiet...the stillness
the frozen and the bleek fallow scene we see
slowly life is beginning to flourish
in small un~noticed little ways
your eyes may see
your spirit may feel
the change that is coming
the wheel will be once more turning
and one day
oh so soon
we shall awake
and sing of spring
whether you celebrate imbolc or not
we all take heed
relishing in our own little ways
we can all rejoice in knowing
there soon will be more light to come
bright IMBOLC blessings
to each of you

Imbolc blessings! I loved reading Arthur Rackham's books of fairy tales when I was a kid. His illustrations are still the best!
